You mean Dreamworks

You think Disney is hiring these actors so they don't have to pay them as much? Ryan Potter is probably getting payed less for voicing Hiro than Rihanna is getting to voice Tip in DreamWorks Home.disneyprincess11 wrote:See Dreamworks, Illuminations, and Blue Sky: This is how you do a cast. The most talented people who can do the part, not the most famous people who can buy the part
OH NO NO NO NO NO. I'm joking around with the BUYING part. Like these DW actors are rich millionaires. That's what I meant, not the payment of the role.DisneyEra wrote:You think Disney is hiring these actors so they don't have to pay them as much? From that image, she looks a bit taller and lankier than Rapunzel... And kinda reminds me of Iggy Azalea.frankf3 wrote:Also can we finally put to rest that Honey Lemon looks too much like Rapunzel? I mean we did the same thing with Anna last year (myself included when I saw the first leaked photo). This time, we should just like it play out.
Problem is Atlantis isn't really that highly regarded of a movie so people might forget.jazzflower92 wrote:I am kind of glad for this they got lesser namers for this role. I kind of hope myself that Honey Lemon is Hispanic because it might quell the anger of people who are disappointed that she is not Japanese anymore. Although now that I think about it would be better she was changed to a person of white Hispanic descent. Not to mention show that Hispanics come in many different appearances. I do have a feeling that Disney might get some praise from the African American community for having a black character in their main cast. Although people would have to be reminded that this is not their first time putting an African American in the main cast because if anyone remembers Atlantis Dr.Sweet the team doctor was half African American and Native American. In my opinion next to Atlantis The Lost Empire this has been the most diverse cast of characters Disney has had.

Its a cult classic among those who actually like it for some of its unique aspects that separate it from other Disney movies.Tristy wrote:Problem is Atlantis isn't really that highly regarded of a movie so people might forget.jazzflower92 wrote:I am kind of glad for this they got lesser namers for this role. Ah yes, 2001, the year of Shrek 1 & Monsters Inc. Atlantis didn't have a chance. Reminds me of Bolt in 2008. It was overshadowed by Kung-Fu Panda & Wall E.Tristy wrote:Problem is Atlantis isn't really that highly regarded of a movie so people might forget.jazzflower92 wrote:I am kind of glad for this they got lesser namers for this role. I knew him as Danger from the Oscar-winning film "Million Dollar Baby".Avaitor wrote:To be fair though, how many of you knew who Jay Baruchel was before he was Hiccup?
Oh sure, I'll bet you've seen one of his lesser movies before, but unless you've seen Undeclared (aka the lesser Freaks and Geeks), I doubt that you'd know him by name. But I mean, you're mostly right about Dreamworks anyway.
This could be a star making role for some of these actors especially Ryan Potter whose biggest gig was being on the Nickelodeon show Supah Ninjas. Maybe this could get him more into voice acting.Avaitor wrote:To be fair though, how many of you knew who Jay Baruchel was before he was Hiccup?

I have a feeling people will complain b/c they chose a hispanic of white ethnicity(& blonde no less)& feel its a cop out...there are white and blonde hispanics, so it may be a possibility.
Like what happened when Sofia turned out to be Hispanic?unprincess wrote:I have a feeling people will complain b/c they chose a hispanic of white ethnicity(& blonde no less)& feel its a cop out...
