It sounds like they really got a story together this time.
I'm very intrigued. I think this will be one of the most beautiful CG films to come out over the next few years. And I love that there is still respect and admiration for Alan Menken within the walls of WDAS. If they're serious about pursuing that classic Disney from the 50s, they NEED Menken. He proved with Enchanted he "gets" Disney. True Love's Kiss is like a lost song from Snow White.
I'm very happy to hear that the directors' secret dream is to one day see the tower in Fantasyland and hear the music on Main Street. That is a beautiful and powerful goal that I always hoped the creators of a potential Rapunzel film would have. Because let's be real, Rapunzel is the last great fairytale left to be adapted by Disney. I want it to rock out world.
I'm officially highly anticipating Rapunzel now.
