One of the bonus features previewed on youtube involved a discussion of the Cinderella Castle at WDW, but where is it on the disc? Is it Seond Screen or has it been dropped altogether?

We have art (Cinderella as she appears on the cover) on the Blu-ray disc released in Norway. The DVD is grey though.Atlantis wrote:Since I am into continuity, it really bugs me that there is no art on the disc like there has been for the other blu-ray releases. That was the first thing I noticed when I opened the packaging.
Well we dont have that in the US. Just a blue disc which is disappointing.Prince Edward wrote:We have art (Cinderella as she appears on the cover) on the Blu-ray disc released in Norway. that`s not entirely true. As new preservation technology continues to develop, restorations as they currently stand will be cheaper to master and Disney may one day actually make the corrections. It`ll be a while, but there`s enough incentive to have a proper representation of the film as the dislike for this restoration builds up. At worst, we`ll have a more accurate one in time for the films 100th anniversary, when we`re all upwards of middle-aged.JustOneBite87 wrote:What's really upsetting for me is that this will probably be the final restoration this film ever receives. The errors present, however minor or major, will most likely be permanent and future Disney employees will probably never be aware that such issues exist.
I hope so.ajmrowland wrote:

I was being dumb.monorail91 wrote:Patrick my DMR rewards points slip was in the door with the Blu-ray book, standing right next to it.
Hm.. what do you mean? The trilogy is $89.99 and the 3D is $59.99. When The Lion King trilogy was released, it was 450 points, wasn't it? It is in my DMR. There may have been a promo, but it was at least 300 points.ajmrowland wrote:It makes sense, cuz they never bothered to make special codes for the trilogy boxset and 3D is worth more.

The color thing with Lady Tremaine's headpiece is noticeable, but other than that and the other altered colors, I agree. I'd have to give about 4 stars to the video presentation overall, with points off for the errors.Victurtle wrote:I watched Cinderella last night
It was very different to my first viewing, where I felt Cinderella was displaying sighs of depression, and the mice were a lot more annoying and took too much time.
To be honest I didn't notice any of the restoration errors. I was even looking for them too. You just can't see them in motion. I too would rate the video 5 Stars.
The only thing I didn't like were that her wedding dress was grey.
And her eyes, they always looked dead! But that's not a restoration error, that's just how they made her.
Yayyyy, exciting!! Enjoy!Matt wrote:I got the CD yesterday but still haven't had the time to listen to it. I will listen to it tonight after X-Factor!tsom wrote: Let me know what you think after you receive it and listen to them!
