Though if you don't like the discussion, no one is making you be part of it. Just wait till it interests you and then join in. But to silence others just because you don't like the fact we are talking about how pretty the movie is or a plot point doesn't mean our conversation holds any less weight about the movie.
Shall we go back into talking about foot fetishes? Because frankly, I prefer the chameleon talk over that ridiculous drivel. Least the chameleon talk has something to actually do with the movie.
Why do you think everything I say is meant negatively? Of course I only join in on conversation and discussion when something interests me, which is why I ignored the foot fetish conversation and did voice my opinion on the chameleon thing.
You can also stop putting words in my mouth, because in no way was I trying to silence anyone. I was just giving you my two cents concerning the ongoing discussion. No harm in that I think.
My last response was merely made to illustrate the point that, as you point out, we get the tendency to go sliiiiightly off-topic because of the lack of actual updates about the movie from Disney itself. I'm all for discussing every aspect of the movie, don't get me wrong, but I'm anxiously waiting the moment we can start discussing the plot, the characters designs, the artwork, the animation etc.
So by all means, don't mind me and please don't take offense because the last thing I want to do is ruffle anyone's feathers with my opinion. Even though you seem to think that's exactly why I'm here based on your replies to my posts...
Exactly. Siren, you seem to have have taken our two, fairly lighthearted posts, and gotten all offended and taken them negatively. Neither of us were literally trying to silence anyone. Relax.

I know a guy who is afraid of feet. People take off their shoes and socks just to annoy him. He deserves it, though, because he is always making other people sick to their stomachs. However, the people that are disturbed by him are not the same people who disturb him. Karma is weird.

Sorry, I can't read minds. If you expected me to take them lightheartedly then maybe you need to be a bit more clear. Add a

. I am sorry I misunderstood you, but you can't blame me 100% for that when you weren't obviously clear yourselves.

Dear Disney:
The recent lack of information regarding your 50th animated feature, Tangled, has driven our Ultimate Disney community mad. We now have begun to accuse each other of over-analyzing plot elements, talk about foot fetishes, chameleons and other topics irrelevant to the film. We will be very grateful if you released more information that we can actually discuss, like story, character details, videos and images so our community can be happy once more.
Eagerly anticipating the movie:

Well, in my case you'll have to blame the language barriere. Being dutch I try my best at english, but it's sometimes difficult to find the exact right words and nuances necesarry to make my point

But trust me, I'll never consciously attack anyone or try to cause fights. I'm just not that kind of person

But I'll try to be more clear next time.

I'm not going to quote all robster's posts, but all the posts I REPLIED to from him, NONE of them had a

If you want to continue this, by all means, maybe you like this better than the chameleon talk. Personally, I prefer it, don't you?

You can tell how a person reacted on internet from the way they demonstrated their personality. I bet most of everyone knows that I joke a lot and that If I saw something that might seem offensive they usually take it light heartily cause they know I never aggressively attack toward anyone or hardly get angry.
When willie post that message, I wasn't sure exactly if he maybe serious or joking so I just made a joke respond to it by posting a "in your face" chameleon pic.

And that was a perfect response to it, because, while I understand that I haven't been posting as long as you have and so I don't expect everyone to know what I'm like yet, they were both lighthearted posts, and from the posts of yours that I have read, it seems like we have a very similar personality. I laughed out loud at that picture.
And Siren, you actually did reply directly to a post by robster that had smileys in it:

Agreed, this is probably all because of the fact that Disney isn't giving us anything to discuss. No pictures, no press releases, trailers, synopsis, nothing. So we dissect and overanalyse each tiny little aspect of info we can find

If only they started releasing info, pictures and trailers already, then we'd hopefully have some joyfull and happy discussions

Exactly.

I'm sorry this is being dragged out like this. I just didn't mean to start any problems or offend anyone with my first post, and so I'm just trying to make sure everyone (you especially) knows that.

I am starting to agree about this comment about Pascal the chameleon. I wonder why Disney made that character in the first place? Was it because of the tongue that can tangle as Rapunzel's hair does? He is the only friend for Rapunzel? Or what? I was just curious, but I hope Disney has something useful for Pascal. Because some characters can be a waste of time, like the frog hunters from Disney's, "The Princess and the Frog."
I bet one of you would ask me this question, I think: What about Dorothy's dog from, "The Wizard of Oz?" Forgive me for getting on the wrong subject, that is another curiosity question.

Because chameleons are awesome. That's common knowledge.

Apparently after reading a translation of the character description posted with the picture at the source Pascal is a confidant of Rapunzel inside her tower and gives her advice during her stay in the tower, but he also contains a very important clue to her royal heritage. What that it exactly, we'll all have to find out once the movie is out I guess. But he does seem to have a major part in the movie's plot progression...

I read this description too (well, sort of, I actually had Rey read it to me since he's fluent in Spanish

) and I'm left wondering if he'll be a bit like Flit in Pocahontas, as in being very [overly?] protective of his human friend, wanting to keep her safe by following a set of "rules."

Apparently the accompanying article states that the name of the film hasn't been finalized for the Mexican release.

It's beautiful. She looks so cute. I wish they keep the name, "Rapunzel," in Mexico.

That clipart is prettier than the other pieces we've seen. I'm sure though, the actual movie footage will blow us away.

Thank you very much Disney's Divinity and Atlanticaunderthesea! For replying about my designs, saying such nice things, and that historical info.
I don't think this is supposed to be England, but I'm mainly concerned about the bodice looking more like what a peasant would wear if it's for a princess. If you have seen royals wearing things like that Altantica, then maybe it's alright. Though I still think my idea looks better, lol.
I'm glad the chameleon may be historically correct, too.
If someone has a foot fetish, lots of people do. I don't like feet that way, but don't call it disgusting. After all, I suppose caring about pretty feet really is in a Disney movie like Cinderella.
I still wish they would call this Rapunzel, as always. Glad to see the nice art coming from the film though, the art's in between cartoon and painting, and Rapunzel looks pretty.
