Maybe I'm really shallow when it comes to Disney girls, but I'm really relieved seeing the group shot in the link that Mach Full Force posted... Gogo is really pretty, which was hard to tell from the leaked poster!

Yeah I'm liking Fred's looks. Totally knew that he'd look Disney's Shaggy/stoner dude like.

Weirdly enough, I think the characters in that picture look better than they do in CGI. Hmmm....

I find that quite common actually. Character designs tend to look better in sketch or illustration form. There still seems to be a loss in quality when designs are translated to 3D models.

And weirdly enough this problem only happens to me with the Disney movies. Whenever I watch a Pixar film I never think "no, that just looks bad, it would look so much better in 2D" when it comes to the designs, I for one like that they give each character a distinctive look.

I definitely like that 2D picture of Hiro better than anything else we've seen of him.

The freakishly large eyes and freakishly small nose aesthetic Disney is known for doesn't translate in 3D. Anna and Elsa really looked bizarre from certain angles.

But I'm crazy about Honey's glasses!

There will be a new Big Hero 6 trailer released next week to be shown in front of Planes 2.

I love all the character designs, they look great in 2d! I hope we get lots of books with 2d designs like with Frozen!

Sounds like Josh from Hunger Games is Hiro!

Hiro's design is growing on me. It's nothing new or different (big eyes/big head/small body), but I'm starting to like it.
