I was kinda surprised Monsters Inc was getting its own land. It’s one of my favorite Pixar movies, though, so I’m excited to experience it but yes, I was also surprised. I mentioned earlier in this thread— at least it will be a wholly new land. There’s no other clone of it anywhere in the world. For now at least. And the coaster will be WDW’s first suspended coaster so I do think there’s a some worthwhile elements here. And Muppets land as it is now is sort of sad.

There is a theatre show near Rockin Rollercoaster. It opened when I worked at Disney— Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. Now it is shut down and being rethemed to Disney Villains, I think laying the foundation and getting people hyped for Villains Land. But maybe after Villains Land opens in Magic Kingdom, they can retheme it again to Muppets and we’ll have a whole Muppets mini-land in DHS again? It would be cool to experience a real, live Muppets Show at a theme park. Maybe make it feel like you’re attending a live taping with camera operators and everything— would be a way to incorporate the Muppets and get back to the concept of the park as a film studio. IDK, I do think that’s unlikely. I kinda think the retheme of RnR was just an easy bone to throw to fans once they smelled the blood in the water after D23.

The best Muppet-themed thing I ever saw at WDW was their show in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom about American history. I like Liberty Square and its attractions as is, but if they want to make it more appealing to families, I think adding more Muppets there would be a great idea.

An AA of Walt Disney is coming to the Magic Kingdom’s Carousel of Progress attraction in Orlando.

Still think Walt AAs are creepy, but I’m not a fan of COP and I think it’s needed rethinking for how it fits into Tomorrowland. Maybe the new Walt AA will help with that?

I liked the pink at first, but it’s clear the white and blue look is better.

Great idea about painting the castle in white and blue again. I saw it in pink and a year later in white in Tokyo and honestly the white one looks more elegant. The pink one doesn't remind me about Cinderella at all. I have the pink and the blue associated to SB
