Just watched Act of Contrition. Episode 4? So watch the mini and the first four episodes. I've almost finished disc 2 (out of 20!) - and then of course there's all the commentaries, podcast commentaries, extended episodes and PiP stuff...
I think so people just get so worked up about stuff, they fail to see the obvious. Battlestar Galactica is about US. The people act, behave and feel like US. They are US. I suspect some will be moaning that they have spaceships and hyperdrives, but can't cure cancer. But that's the point.
The only thing I really don't like at the moment is Boomer being a Cylon. I like the idea of "the enemy within" but the fact she is unaware (but sort of suspects at this point I think) doesn't really ring true to me, because there is no real-world equivalent. I'd much rather her always have known - I think it would raise more questions.
I'm fascinated by No6. She seems to have her own agenda.
