Ditto. I really wish they'd record a Broadway-style song for the DP brand sung by all the singing voices of the princesses and make a music video with new, original animation of them singing it. Of course, that's never going to happen.

I can't believe that Snow White is not on that video... It's just ridiculous... She is the original Disney Princess.

That would be amazing especially since we have seen all the princess actresses reunited so it wouldn't be a major ask. I can't see them creating new animation though since that would actually require 2D animation to be acknowledged. I'm not sure how well 2D would make with the CGI of the newer princesses, unless the princesses were kept separate from one another or if they just went with the clipart looks. More than likely, they'd go the Sofia the First animation route.

The last two are interchangable for me. All the current songs are incredibly derivative and while they preach a nice message and all, you could easily remove the princesses and it wouldn't make a difference.

I noticed the classic princesses were neglected in that video. I only saw a fleeting glimpse of Cinderella.

You're right. I didn't notice her but she's towards the end. Snow White is definitely missing though which is annoying since they literally got everyone else. It feels like a calculated snub.

I love "If You Can Dream" and "Where Dreams Begin"! But yes, an even better song with new animation of all the princesses singing would be fantastic!

Hey blackcauldron85, thanks for posting that about the doll designs. I have seen Wal-mart have new dolls with the better looking faces! And they all have new floral print dresses which are nice. On a side note, my Giant grocery store has the Cinderella doll with the old ugly Hasbro face and ok dress. Cinderella's the only Disney Princess doll they sell there. I am happy she's that wanted! But God, why did they have to make her so ugly?

Agreed. It was generic, unremarkable and forgettable. But at least the video was cool, though. It's remarkable that Moana was even a part of it (due to her non-coronation/inclusion on the line). But at least the video showed a pretty good deal of Pocahontas, Mulan (regarding their dismissal) and a little bit of Tiana. But even Elena got shown a bit.

The "Let's Play Princess" songs were never intended for the DP franchise as it hadn't been formed at the time nor were they used afterwards for it. Not to mention they are very specific to Jasmine and Ariel and therefore couldn't possibly be applied to all of the princesses. The Sweetest Dream is an instrumental track so that one doesn't count either.

The only songs I've heard are "If You Can Dream" and the Ella Enchanted song (which is funny because I still have never watched EE in full). I like IYCD for getting O'Hara, Benson, Kuhn, Salonga all in the same place, even if the song itself and the Cinderella/Snow White voice replacements kind of suck.

I think you're referring to "Every Girl Can Be a Princess". That's the only DP song included on the Cinderella Platinum DVD.

Oh, okay. I remember that was one of those earworm songs that make you cringe a little, but get stuck in your head.

What a disappointing, generic logo! Let's hope that it's not going to be an official one.

The one I like most is the one they had just before that new gold one, with the crown inside the "P", in the pink banner.

That's actually not too bad. (Although I'll always hate the new outfits/hairstyles.)

everyone looks good except for snow whites pose... why the folded arms? rapunzel and ariel should have their animal side-kicks, and tiana needs ray to give her a reason to be looking that way.

I think the picture's good as it is. Tiana's looking away because she's smug.
