I find it hilarious how the same people who complained about Frozen before it came out on Tumblr have not learned from their mistakes at all. Do they not realize that needless controversy is publicity? The movie's not out yet, but it's probably mostly finished. Nothing can reverse the fact that the character designs are set in stone long before the public knows. Plus, these could easily be early designs. Honey is in a different pose than she's been in every single other low quality image we've gotten.
Meanwhile, they're blatantly ingnoring Gogo Tomago, the
other female lead. I mean, she's not been brought up at all on Tumblr, and she looks nothing like either Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna or Honey. They're being complete hypocrites when they say "that Disney designs all their female characters the same" and then they ignore an outlier that's right in front of them. It's because she's Asian, right? Gee, I would have thought Tumblr would be all over her for that sole reason. I mean, that's what they wanted from Frozen.

And the fact that there's a black character in the movie, which people were whining about the lack of. And now, they're ignoring him or
even complaining that he's black!

These types of criticisms are sounding like an Everybody Loves Raymond episode.

I like tumblr's complaining. Then the situation will be just like Frozen, BH6 will become so well known among the audiences before it premiers with all these internet awareness, and will probably do like Frozen and attract everyone to the cinema, and then it makes millions of dollars at the box office, turns into a world-wide phenomenon and wins all the Awards.

I like Lemon's design. She looks quite similar to Rapunzel, but I don't mind.

And that's a good thing in my opinion.

I can see the Marvel fanboys being severly disappointed with that...
...Anyway it's good. If there were any cameos of Captain America or Iron Man they'd overshadow these new characters whom the audience is trying to connect with.

The Japanese teaser apparently had a few extra scenes.

Meanwhile, WHERE'S THE REST OF THE CAST LIST?!!? The movie is coming in 4 months. This is ridiculous!

Plot twist: the movie's mute, that's why we don't have a cast list.

Yeah, this is a good. It seemed clear it wasn't going to be part of the Cinematic Universe anyway.

Quite true.

I remember last year in the Frozen thred two/three people updated it every 5 minutes with every single little tidbit of info or even random headcanons and whatnot. Now, though it's just "naaaah i'll go get a snack to the kitchen".

So Just a thought...
I am afraid that I didn't enjoy Frozen Last year as much as I wanted to, and it mostly was because I knew pretty much the entire movie before going in.
I was thinking about starting a Big Hero 6 thread that is strictly dedicated to discussing the 2 or 3 big trailers that will come out for this movie. No books, no songs, no plot points.. Just a discussion for those trailers.
What do you guys think?
Also, Disney is going full on with keeping this movie a secret. How have they not released a voice cast yet??!!

I think it's simply because they don't need to. There isn't any reason why we need so much information so many months before the film arrives. These films are designed to be viewed with no knowledge or information known beforehand. That's why the interviews with the cast always circulate around the same questions and answers. Putting out information which could lead to major spoilers that often spoil the movie experience for many people who may choose not to see the film.
The promotional period will start at a length of time before the movie where people can hold their interest until the opening date, and will contain information Disney marketing feels will best entice movie goers, not make them feel they can predict the whole movie without seeing it. With superhero films, this is a very real possibility, which is probably why the villain identity is so secretive.
Regarding the voice cast, again we don't really need to know the voice cast at all, but we will. Disney however isn't under any obligation to tell before they want to. Maybe it's because they don't want people hounding the actors with questions which they might answer without Disney's approval.

Your right. It isn't Disney's obligation to tell before they want to, but the more they wait this will happen:
spoiling the release of the main characters cause Disney waits to long to release info to fans. I have no idea why WDAS waits so long to release info for it's upcoming films. They're also the only animation studio that does this. Other studios like Pixar & DreamWorks give fans a chose: you can wait til the film comes out or you can have a glimpse into what's to come. Take Pixar's Inside Out: we've seen the main cast & know their voice actors since last August even though the film was nearly 2 years away. There's even a poster of The Good Dinosaur fully complete. Big Hero 6 will have a booth at San Diego's Comic Con in 2 weeks. If we don't know the voice cast & get official images by then, we shouldn't get nothing til September with Guardians of the Galaxy dominating August. The longer Disney waits, leaks will spoil things, kinda like when TJ Miller announced on his Twitter page that he was the voice of Fred last March.
