Songs only available via downloads right now?, etc.

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

I realize that my info. about "Golden Opportunities" is off-topic. I may actually just start a message thread about "Golden Opportunities"...

I also realize that I may be judging the movie too harshly at too early a time, but you've got to admit that I admitted that.

I really want to know how everybody is hearing the rest of these "Tangled" songs, though, because they're not available on Amazon.com's "Tangled" soundtrack listing, and I don't really want to download them.

Are they only available via downloads right now?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Since Tangled is only a 2 weeks away (for some), I thought I'd say Thanks for keeping me in the loop.

So, here's my lil' 'Thank You' to everyone who has posted trailers, music, concept art, news/screening info, merch, etc., etc., etc... You're Awesome!

My review of the entire "Samples Soundtrack"!

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

Before I review the soundtrack samples, I'd just like to say that I can't stop listening to the samples, and that I want to see the movie, get the soundtrack, etc.!

I feel as though I'll relate TOO well to the entire movie, to Rapunzel, to Mother Gothel, etc. I once dreamed that I'd be the voice of Rapunzel, but I never got off of my rear end, doggone it all! Anyway, I think that I may have a love/hate relationship with this movie, and with its characters, during the many days of the future...

NOTE: SOUNDTRACK SPOILERS!

The following is my review of the entire "Samples Soundtrack":

TRACK 1- WHEN WILL MY LIFE BEGIN (My favorite song! I'd love to hear a Country cover by a famous Country singer!)

MUS: Cool, cheerful, reminds me of the new Holly Hobbie dolls...

VOC: She utters the dreaded "Like", which modernizes the song too much, but the entire song is pretty cool!

TRACK 2- WHEN WILL MY LIFE BEGIN (REPRISE 1)

MUS: Appropriate

VOC: A bit too cheerful...?

TRACK 3- MOTHER KNOWS BEST

MUS: Too cheerful...

VOC: Too saccharine, and yet, not saccharine enough...Amazon ended with "men with pointy-", and that made me LOL!, due to its innuendo-esque, funny implications...Why'd they end with THAT phrase? What were they THINKING?

TRACK 4-WHEN WILL MY LIFE BEGIN (REPRISE 2)

MUS: Cool...and very Disney

VOC: Sorta weird...

TRACK 5- I'VE GOT A DREAM

MUS: Okay...

VOC: It's too bad that the annunciation seems to be nul and void, because the lyrics are actually pretty cool!

TRACK 6- MOTHER KNOWS BEST (REPRISE)

MUS: Cool...

VOC: Cool, wicked, sexy change of vocal quality, which makes the reprise better than the actual song

TRACK 7- I SEE THE LIGHT

MUS: Calm and cool...

VOC: I don't like the pinchy, nasally quality of Mandy Moore's voice here...

TRACK 8- HEALING INCANTATION

MUS: Super mystical!

VOC: Mysterious and sorta whiney...

TRACK 9- FLYNN WANTED

MUS: Adventurous and action-oriented...

TRACK 10- PROLOGUE

MUS: Cool and mysterious!

VOC: Interesting!

TRACK 11- HORSE WITH NO RIDER

MUS: More mysterious action music

TRACK 12- ESCAPE ROUTE

MUS: Sounds sorta like some of the music from "Atlantis"

TRACK 13- CAMPFIRE

MUS: Sweet...

TRACK 14- KINGDOM DANCE

MUS: Medieval and cool

TRACK 15- WAITING FOR THE LIGHTS

MUS: Super Disney-esque...and folksy!

TRACK 16- RETURN TO MOTHER

MUS: Sweet, sad, etc.

TRACK 17- REALIZATION AND ESCAPE

MUS: Ooo...mystical and chime-like!

TRACK 18- THE TEAR HEALS

MUS: Ominous!

TRACK 19- KINGDOM CELEBRATION

MUS: Too goofy! Wow! Ack! Weird!

TRACK 20- SOMETHING THAT I WANT

MUS: Okay...and typical...

VOC: Almost too BOLD! Sounds...um...materialistic...and materialism-promoting...in the extreme...with regards to the lyrics...I can see tons of little girls citing this song as an excuse to demand every piece of "Tangled" merchandise that exists!

NOTES: Murphy and Moore have a few vocal traits in common...interesting. The entire soundtrack reminds me of the soundtracks from both "Aladdin" and "Atlantis".

Thank you in advance for your replies.

The wonderful music samples do not suprise me in the least; I expected so much from Alan and Glen, and got so much ! 'When Will My Life Begin' ... a brilliant twist on the opening song number then merging into the 'I want' song. Perfect, so far. Mother Knows Best; very Ursula, even down to Rapunzel trying to interrupt just as Ariel talks to Ursula in Poor Unfortunate. I See the Light may just take over from A Whole New World / Once Upon A Dream as my favourite Disney Duet ... !

And I STILL cant believe I have to wait until January 28th !! :x

The worst part? They didn't even rerecord it!

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SuQCMhxklg4?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SuQCMhxklg4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

While I do like it (the clapping and the guitar fits nicely with the rest of the soundtrack), I do wish we'd gotten a new song instead.

I think people who have seen the film have mentioned that the credits involve concept art–is there a little story with it, like the end credits of The Princess and the Frog, or just concept art?

Poor you! Why so long? Because i live in europe too, in Holland, and it only comes 5 days later here, on December first. You'd think they could easily put some subtitles under the original version and release it.. I don't see why they need two months for that?
Where do you live?

Yeah, outside America, Disney have idiots rather than directors for the company ¬¬
In Spain, February 4th (That's the reason I'm going to NY, to see it on Nov. 24th xD)

Wow, so cool that you're going to the official movie premiere in NY!
Not only you get to see tangled, but also Zach and Mandy!

But you think they will go to NY??? I thought the premiere was going to be in Los Angeles!
I'm going the week of the release, so I can see it the same 24th, but I'm going to a regular movie theater session, not a premiere (I wish I could!! =/)

Aww, I liked it when Disney movies had songs that were first used during end credit scrolls before anywhere else.
