Disney Duster wrote:I am so amazed at how beautiful this film looks. And how dramatic! I will be a very happy boy come March! And that little bit of "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" excited me that this is meant to be the live-action version of my favorite, beloved, Disney animated 1950 Cinderella!
A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes was the first thing I noticed! It looks amazing. I wonder if they will use the song for this movie, like they did with Maleficent. Hope so!

Anyone else think her waistline may have been digitally enhanced in the scenes where she wears her ballgown?
Her waist looks extremely small.. and not very natural. Either that, or a strangely shaped corset... but the fabric seems too sheer for that...

I believe some dresses can create that illusion.

Disney's Divinity wrote:See, I always thought Cinderella was one of those characters that was beautiful more because of her actions than her outward looks.
Well said. The same can be said about Belle as well.
Speaking of Lily James beauty; She's not drop dead gorgeous, but she's far from hideous. She's cute enough with makeup, so I think she makes a fine Cinderella. It's not that Cinderella needs to be drop dead gorgeous either, although that's her goal with her archetype.
And about the new trailer; I liked how "A Wish is a Dream Your Heart Makes" gets played at the beginning.

In that legacy featurette, I love the shot of Ella, in her pink rags, happily walking in the rain after the ball and holding the glass slipper. Imagine having the best night of your whole life and you don't have a care in the world about anything! It made me pretty giddy! Haha.

That really was the highlight of the featurette!

Liked the featurette. And Lily James seems so humble and nice and definitively better looking than she is in "Cinderella".

Yup, it still looks as bland and pointless as ever. It can't be as horrific as Maleficent though. At worst it'll be a cute but unoriginal live rendition of the animated film. Yawn.
They're lucky Frozen Fever is being attached to it because Maleficent had more of a draw despite being an abomination against nature. I expect they'll be promoting that more the closer we get to the release date.

True. Although I'm certain that "Frozen Fever" will probably be leaked or released alone in some way.

I loved the featurette. I'm so excited about the film. The more I watch these promotional materials, the more I think Lily James is the perfect Cinderella, she's just so beautiful.

I'm glad Patrick Doyle is the composer. I love his work.

Lily James has said she wore a very tight corset. I bet the sheer fabric is over top thicker fabric.

I loved that so much too! She was so happy didn't care it was raining! And it was so much like when she holds the slipper in her rags in the original film!
Old Fish Tale wrote:That really was the highlight of the featurette!
Well, that and the pumpkin coach and dress transformations (even though it was just the very end of those, but Lily James was so graceful!)!

Wait, what do you mean she is better looking than she is in "Cinderella"? This
is "Cinderella"...

I meant the interview in the featurette.

Oh, I get you. Well I think she is humble and nice and beautiful in both the interview and the movie.
Wait, when was that new sneak peek on Good Morning America supposed to be? Did it already happen? Is it already online?

I meant primarily in the interview, though.

Yes. But I personally think she is humble and nice in the movie, too.

The film has a fanpage on Facebook, and the admin posted this photo
Did anyone see these pics online in a higher quality? They're both beautiful.

Those images are BEAUTIFUL and I would love to see bigger versions as well! However, I bet those photos will make it into some of the books and other merchandise that come out for the movie.

I prefer the lighter blue dress that she is wearing in the Vogue photoshoot, than the vibrant blue one that you can see on the trailers, it just looks more classy...Although probably it´s the same dress and they just edited the color on the photo
