No, they'll just sound like them.

Ooh, thank you
Sotiris! As an artist an lover of French art, as well as loving historical accuracy in stories I like, I am loving that news! But did they indicate the original film had objects that seemed Spanish and out of place in the film?!
Escapay, you're funny.

So Lumiere didn't look French enough?

There's no reason for the rose or the logo to be Frozen™

I think those might just be symbols on the jar? Either way, I’m okay with the wintery look considering most of the film takes place during that season. And, more importantly, that poster is
gorgeous.

This is going to be huge. I'm definitely expecting this to be their biggest live-action fairytale film so far.

I LOVE the poster. It really is gorgeous! And yes, the bell jar with the rose isn't frozen, it has decorative filigree on it, and the gray part of the logo is meant to be stone, like the cold, gargoyle-filled stone the castle was when it was cursed, to represent the Beast having a heart of stone and having a hard, dark, non-beautiful appearence.
If you watch the teaser trailer, you can see the bell jar has filigree on it, not frozen frost.
And I forgot to say, this film taking place in Winter will finally resolve the problem of how long Belle was gone and her father was searching for her and how it seemed four season all passed so quickly...

…And if it didn’t, the world would not care.
Do we even know if the whole film takes place in winter here? I’m sure they won’t have “Belle” being performed in a cold street.

That poster is really gorgeous. I saw it on Emma Watson's Facebook page. I'm really excited about this, and I cannot wait to see what they did to it.

The poster is very pretty, love the new look of the rose.
I really hope songs like Belle are performed in the bright sunshine, with colour, and the whole film isn't that sepia blue dark tone that so many CGI films are.

Yeah, me too. I hope it won't be as dark as Les Miserables or Into the Woods.

Good work nomad2010!
I think it's too early, especially for comments from actors in it, but hey, I'm excited!

It turns out it was the same trailer; they just attached in front of it a brief
video of Emma Watson talking about the film.

Tokyopop will be releasing a two-volume manga adaptation of the live-action Beauty and the Beast. One of the volumes will tell the story from Belle's perspective, while the other will tell it from the Beast's perspective. The two volumes will be released separately and together as a
limited edition set.

I really doubt I'll buy this (I'll have to look at more of the art first), but I think the two sides is a cute idea. And the cover is very pretty.

I felt jipped we didn't see anything new about the film, but I did like Emma Watson's comments and am glad the reason she's in this is because she really loves the original movie and the original Belle character.
I can't believe they're doing a manga for this, and they never did it for the other films! But it is very cool. I have no idea if I'll buy it or not. But yes, it looks pretty so far.

Thanks, Sotiris, for providing that video of Emma Watson speaking about the part. She's so perfect for this part. I can't wait to hear her sing.

Interesting.
Are you looking forward to this movie, Sotiris? And what are your thoughts about this current live action adaptation boom from Disney?

I agree, Emma is wonderful. I'm so excited to see this. Still 8 months away!
