Flanger, I'm just curious...does that impressive list mean you watched them all this summer for the first time? Or are some repeat viewings?

Everything Batman and Robin should have been. If you want to see Freeze done right check out this flick.

Do you have the double future or singles of both? I have the Single of Phantasm AND the double future with Phantasm in fullscreen only and Subzero. I like to keep my Phantasm only DVD because It looks awesome in Widescreen but it could use alot of remastering and so extras....TRIPLE DIP PLEASE!

All are either first time viewings or movies I haven't watched in a long time. You can also add Condorman (1981) to that list now.

Mamma Mia this afternoon! LOVED IT! My only complaint was I wish they hadn't lowered the volume of the music during the songs. I wanted to hear the music PUMPING like in the stage show. The ST is much more satisfying in my opinion and Pierce actually doesn't sound that bad when the music's at the same volume as the lyrics. And the guy who played Sky was HOT!!!

I watched Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss last night.

Legally Blonde - Fantastic! I love this movie!!

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde - While not as good as it's former, it's still very entertaining.

Batman Begins - It was my first viewing of this film, and I have to say it's a little overhyped.

Mamma Mia! - My second time seeing this one. Great, as always!

Love, Actually - VERY good! I think a new favorite of mine. I will definitly be buying this on DVD.

Meet me in St.Louis Very nice classic and Judy Garland's songs are all fantastic. Very sweet movie.

Groundhog Day This film, starring Bill Murray and Andie McDowell, was actually very entertaining. Ned was hilarious!

I watched Star Wars: A New Hope last night.

8.5/10.

On Friday, I watched Catch That Kid on Disney Channel. It's not a Disney film, but Corbin Bleu is in it (it's from 2004). It was pretty awful. Corbin didn't write it, so I feel okay saying it!

I watched it, too, Amy, because the main girl star will be playing Bella Swan in the Twilight film! Her name is Kristen Stewart.

The Mummy: Curse of the Dragon Emperor - I didn't really like it that much. I don't think I reccomend it.

Oh, that's cool! When I have the money, I'm definitely going to by all 4 books- I'm in withdrawl- stupid library waiting list!!!
Did you like the movie, Dan? I just thought that it sets the wrong example for kids.

Well, I don't know about setting the wrong example for kids. I used to watch it when I was a kid, and I really liked it, but I didn't do any of that stuff, lol.

Now when I watch it, it seems cheesy.

Superhero Movie - I only watched this because Drake Bell and Sara Paxton were in it. I only laughed a few times, and overall, it was pretty awful.

I know that the girl wanted to help out her dad, but as far as the movie shows, the kids didn't even get in trouble!!! For robbing a bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's just not the right way to go about things. It doesn't show any consequences. Obviously, that's not something that most people, let alone most kids, would do, but still...and, I didn't like how the girl played the boys...that's just never cool.

On Friday my dad and I went to see Swing Vote and to our surprise it was not playing at the theater we had chosen. We talked it over and decided to see Step Brothers instead. We walked out. The film (rated 14A here) was so much more crude than expected and was so mean spirited. We stayed about 15 minutes to a half hour where there was a total of about three funny things. By the time Will Ferrell's balls were out we were headed that way. What a fantastic disappointment. We got a refund (they do that until about a 40 minutes in) and drove to another theater. This place was playing Swing Vote much much too late so we went to another that was playing it an hour from that time. Swing Vote was a light, fluffy and predictable movie with a WONDERFUL cast, a few nice laughs and lots of smiles. Nothing to big or memorable but it turned out to be very nice.
