My collection doesn't compare, but it inspired me to dig out an old photo I took of my DVD's from 2008, before the Blu-ray craze:
It does not include the Disney Treasures or Legacy sets that were put away at the time, and I was also missing a handful of titles I lost in the move (which I haven't replaced all of just yet).
Some of the DAC's are out of order, don't kill me.

At the time I had another shelf the same size full of non-Disney animation.
My collecting has mostly slowed down since I now have most everything I want.

I still like to pick up new animated titles on Blu-ray, and would like to keep upgrading my DAC's to Blu-ray as they become available.

I could probably fill close to four of these shelves now though.

But VHS's? While I do have some they're not in this photo.

I've got some black diamonds stored away.

You're messing with my brain. I was sure I saw some, but I just looked at them again, and they're the same height as the DVDs.

Hmm, maybe you're looking at some of the wider sets? Here's a
link to a larger version of the image if it helps.

My small but sweet collection
DACs (plus a couple others I couldn't fit onto other shelves):
Mixture of DVD and blu-ray. All of the blu-rays with slipcovers (minus Snow White and The Lion King Trilogy, which are from Australia) have been bought from the US. As for the DVDs, Make Mine Music is R1 (was never released in R4), Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time, Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad and Aladdin are all R2. The remainder, the bulk of my collection, are all the Australian editions.
I have Lady and the Tramp 2 and not the original, as I'm waiting for that from Amazon.com (it doesn't come with a digital copy or the slipcover in Aus). I'm getting fussy with my classics

I've also ordered, but haven't received, the Walt Disney Treasures Donald Vol 2 and 3 sets, and the first Silly Symphonies set. These will be steelbooks and not in plastic cases like the three I already have. Am also waiting for Oliver and Company from Amazon France - absolutely love the DVD cover they had and couldn't find it anywhere else.
I also have the first three Ducktales volumes as they were released in R1 (in addition to the set in the photo).
Pixar and live action films:
All are Australian releases except A Bug's Life, Incredibles and Titans, which the are the US editions. I know technically Narnia 3 isn't a Disney movie, it's in there because I keep it with the first 2

Not pictured, my complete Hannah Montana DVD set.
Also have a heap of Disney comics, including the recent Boom/Kaboom releases, Gemstone, etc. Also have a few vintage ones including some Disneyland comics with (I believe) Uncle Scrooge, a comic adaptation of Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast, and a complete set of the Little Mermaid comics

I'm planning on getting that new Lady and the Tramp today, so I'll try and update my last pics when I do.

I know double post = bad (I hate them myself) but, I think this one is worth it. Unless I'm not the first one to have this idea: time to upgrade the format from pics to...
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="
http://www.youtube.com/embed/FcgbU2fkbhU" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Video!
The volume level is REALLY low, so turn yours up quite loud and then turn it back down after it's over. I tried my best to get all the audio to sync up, but Windows Movie Maker SUCKS. They tell you it all syncs as you're previewing it and then, when you save it, several of the syncs are completely out of whack. Anyway, since it's shot so close up (don't ask- I have ZERO depth perception when holding that camera), it's best if you don't play it in fullscreen. Also, I know I held the camera up close to some of the Disney logos and you're probably thinking "um... we know it's Disney." I did that because of a thread on UD where someone asked why the corporation labeled the older releases "Walt Disney's" and then later just "Disney." This was to show some of the older releases actually did do the same thing as the newer ones. As for the audio bits I chose, I couldn't find anything for the original Witch Mountain- so I had to use audio from the 1995 TV remake. When I open up the Lady and the Tramp DVD case, it's to show you that because of my trouble buying bootlegs that I now have so many different versions of one movie that I'll have one disc from one set and another from another in one set. After the first Bambi DVD set (the "Diamond" edition), all of those 2-disc sets are bootlegs. Yes, that 2nd copy of Lady and the Tramp you see between Cinderella and The Little Mermaid is a bootleg. But the first copy between Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan is real.
