Does anyone have any advice about how to rectify my situation of not being able to log into the chat room? I looked on their help forum, and one person mentioned clearing the "flash cache" but I can't find any info on how to do that, or if there even is such a thing as a "flash cache". Bobby & I switched computers, and I just tried clearing the cookies and the temporary Internet files, but both times it kind of froze. Ugh. I just want to be able to use the chat, and I just can't.

Slightly OT here . . .

I briefly mentioned in chat last night that the cops came to my door yesterday, looking to arrest someone that doesn't live at this address anymore. I never even met the gal and I've lived in this house for two years! Anyway, I thought it was the nosy neighbors at first so I didn't bother answering, then I later find a warrant wedged into my door.

My boyfriend called the police station this morning to straighten it out, and they've threatened to arrest him for lying to cover for the mystery girl and say they'll be watching the house. Apparently the neighbors say they see her come and go all the time. They must be confusing her for me?

Oh the drama! I'm wondering if I should call a lawyer.

And BTW, chat gets a little crazy after dark.

Oh no!!! Can you afford to hire a lawyer? Do you have any friends or friends of friends who are one who could at least give you some advice, engimawing?!? Should you try talking with the neighbors, or do you think that'll just fuel the fire?!? See what I miss out on while I can't log into chat!!! That sucks, and I hope everything ends up being okay and just a misunderstanding!

Any advice on how to clear cookies or caches or flash or whatever that's causing Everywhere Chat not to work for me? I miss it there.

My boyfriend did call the police station again later and I think everything's been straightened out now, but I was ready to ask about a lawyer. We didn't do anything wrong (in fact we were trying to be helpful with that first call) and we felt we were being harassed.

Should be all good now.

LOL!!! No problem . .. I used to be quite notorious for that myself.
