What’s the right way to take them out?

I have a question for anyone who bought those new picture disc vinyls that Disney has released for their soundtracks. How do you display them? I was thinking of buying some supports for collectible plates and display them like that. What do you think?

It has been almost a year since Beauty and the Beast was released and there is no word on this collection anymore. Does anyone have any news? Seems weird Disney won't release some of their most acclaimed soundtracks in this collection like Bambi and Aladdin.

Who knows? It's possible they won't make any more. Lorelay Bové who does the covers hasn't heard anything yet either.

Q: Which soundtrack is the next one in The Legacy Collection series? Mulan?

I'd guess Aladdin is the only one left that has any chance of happening at all, since they might push it out to coincide with the re-make just like what happened with B&tB. Otherwise, I think it's over.

They seem to have dropped the anniversary tie-ins completely so you are proibably right. I hope we get an Aladdin soundtrack to complete the Menken-Ashman trilogy. Still, I wish we could have gotten Hunchback, Hercules, and Enchanted as well.

I think I mentioned this before, but it's kind of amazing these lasted as long as they did, since CD's in general just don't sell anymore. They were very nice and worth the investment, but I'm not surprised that they're more or less over with.

Aw Aladdin, Hunchback, Enchanted, and Bambi would have been so great. I would have probably bought Bambi, that has my favorite Disney music.

Do CDs really not sell anymore? They could still have the special value vinyl has today, couldn't they?

CDs are almost completely (I would say 90%) replaced by music downloaded digitally (iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music etc). I myself only buy CDs if they have a collectible and special packaging.

Sicoe Vlad, were you ever able to finish compiling the score for Hunchback? You did a great job with Mulan and it’s a great way to hold us over until (if) the official releases come out

Not yet. I've been super busy at work these days, and then the gym, and I didn't get a chance to finish it. But I will though.

How do i get the Mulan soundtrack?

I'm hoping that the success of the remake of Aladdin will motivate Disney to release a Legacy for Aladdin. However I fear that Disney is done with this

I was hoping we could at least get Aladdin and Hunchback but both look unlikely now. I can't believe the likes of Robin Hood was picked over these titles or even other classics like Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, or Tarzan.

Any info if the future of the Legacy Collection was mentioned at D23? I know during a previous convention they acknowledged how many people wanted a Hunchback release. I have also been wondering if they would release a set to commemorate Walt Disney World's 50th similar to what they did with Disneyland (still one of my favorites of the releases)

Thanks for posting! The TLK and TLM ones are my favorites. I thought for sure Aladdin at least had a chance to get a release, especially after the live-action film's enormous success. I didn't expect anything else though.
