I received an e-mail highlighting the Alice in Wonderland Six Impossible Things Sweepstakes. First Prize is a unique prop from the movie, and Second Prize is a $6,000 gift card.

For the sweepstakes, make sure your pop-up blocker is not blocking the form...I kept on clicking "Enter to Win", and I didn't see anything happening...because of the pop-up blocker, so I had to turn it off.

There's now a new interview with Anne Hathaway and new photo for the White Queen.

There's also a TV spot with new footage.

The battle looks epic, and I'm glad to see the rabbit hole sequence is longer than what we've seen so far (I was afraid at the speed Alice was falling, that scene would be over with in 10 seconds).

Prince Edward, those scans were wonderful! They actually appear to be from some sort of "companion book" to the film. They seem to verify the Hatter's name as Tarrant Hightopp. There also seems to be a lot more depth to his back story than I was aware! This is going to be an even better film than I thought!

The SuperBowl TV spot is now online:

I wish there was more footage than what was here, but that shot of the Jabberwock spouting lightning fire is pretty dang sweet.

Those are from the Visual Guide.

I bought it at BAM yesterday. Beautiful book! I've gotten Visual Guides before and much of the time, the information is either repetitive or simply....pointless.....or even worse, just the author's own personal jokes/opinions and not actually related to the real movie. This one has wonderful info, including spoilers, beautiful images and artwork, and a great layout in all.

This movie is going to be amazing, so intresting they are doing this as continuation of the alice story and not just retelling it.

on a side note

I hate to imagine how all the anti bluray people on here are going to be up in arms. when this is released as a bluray3D title when it comes to home video latter this year. since standard dvd is not capable of real D 3D.

Thanks for posting the new trailer, Kelvin!

And I just noticed that it's still not rated- it'll surely get a PG, right?

Alice In Wonderland’s 3D Problem

I don't see what the issue is. Avatar will have come almost three months prior and surely, the people who wanted to see it in 3-D have seen it and those who wanted to see it again are likely to have done so once Alice rolls around. In fact, cinemas would get more money when offering the 3-D version of Alice, if the profit is the main thing on their minds.

And for ones with two 3-D screens, it also shouldn't be a problem. Back in October, my local multi-plex was showing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on one screen and the Toy Story Double Feature in the other.

Disney must've paid a whole lot of money for that Superbowl add I watched on Youtube. I mean it was like 30 seconds, that's millions and millions of dollars for (almost) the exact same footage in the previously released trailers. Though seeing how many have people watched the Super Bowl - they expect to get some more ticket sales from that - which is obviously a good move on their behalf.

This is my most anticipated film of 2010, and it's only a month away. Though I wonder what possesses people to post random crap (not on this site), in which they complain that the movie is not word for word the same as the book - completely boggles my mind. Those people need to read the book again if they love it so much, and just ignore the movie trailers - however somehow this never works out, since people are oh-so opinionated on everything (without having actually seen the darn thing). Though I'm being kind off an hypocrite - since I too judge some movies even before they're released - but only jokingly. While the aforementioned are dead serious.

I do hope the movie itself is a little less Mad Hatter-central than the trailers I've seen so far. Though I do get that people will more easily recognize Johnny Depp than Mia Wa....... something, something, something. (Yeah -- I'm lazy -- so sue me. )

So in conclusion... can't wait! What a boring post.
