God, that tape was my childhood, it still messes up during I Just Can't Wait to be King and the "Are ya achin'" song because I would rewind those parts. Good times...
Don't you have the DVD of The Lion King? It seems sad that some people still watch VHS tapes of their favorite movies when the DVD is so much better and you can rewind and pause all you want and not affect its playback.

No, I don't have the DVD. I actually kind of protested it when it came out because of the changes(that was before I got into Disney and knew about the "Vault"). Now I wish I would have gotten it, but it's too late. Honestly I'm happy with my tape, and as long as it still works I'll continue to watch it.

It's never too late to start collecting. Sure some of the older DVDs (like from 2000-2001) will be harder to find and cost more, but I think that they are worth getting them because it could be a long time before a better (or same) DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-Ray comes out again. That's why I'm thinking about getting the Treasures because the sound really neat, and I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy them. Even though they started to come out in 2001, I'm still trying to get them. But if you are happy with your VHS, then there really isn't much room to complain.

V for Vendetta. I expected it to be Phantom of the Opera meets 1984, and I was right, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I definitely want to watch it again.

Last night I watched A Goofy Movie and Balto. This morning my dad and I watched a movie called Tender Mercies with Robert Duvall(I think TCM's having a Robert Duvall day), and I just rented The Producers and will watch it later.

I've been watching a lot lately. Jiminy Cricket's Christmas (I found this in my basement, and let me tell ya, it could use a restoration.) I finished watching my VHS of So Dear to my Heart. I also watched A Troll in Central Park, and the Twin Towers weren't cut out, but I guess that was because I got the VHS before 2001. I started to watch Meet the Parents and I'm almost finished with that movie, and I also started watching Once Upon a Forest. Wow, I've been busy watching movies.

Lol, I've been watching holiday stuff too, TSoD. I just watched Mickey's House of Villains a few nights ago. It's a great collection of shorts like the old compilation holiday videos Disney put out. If they advertised as that and not as a full-lenght feature film, then a lot more people would be satisfied with it.

I also just watched Pollyanna after a long time of not seeing it. I think the last time I saw it was on Vault Disney. Anyhow, I didn't realize it was such a beautiful story, though a bit too idealistic at times (oh boy, especially the ending). I can see why children would be bored with it though. Pollyanna is a fun character but the movie is really really long. I tolerated it by splitting it into two nights.

Oh yeah, we watched Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off tonight on the Disney Channel and it's a pretty cruel movie when one thinks about it. The kids were just plain mean and sexist and Eddie should've dumped DB as a friend b/c he was such a jerk. Man, if people didn't catch the ending, they'd be getting the wrong message. I'm glad those junior high school days are over though. Kids are cruel. Overall, not a terrible movie and its one of the better DCOMs.

I watched Life Size today. I didn't realize it until now, but it's very similar to A Mom For Christmas.

Last night my friend and I watched Lady in the Water. Now I've seen pretty crappy horror films before like The Village but Lady in the Water was really good. I was still freaked out way beyond the night going "OMG, grass monsters are gonna get me." However, I wish there was a little less yacking but I guess to fully understand what was going on they had to yack a lot or you would have gotton lost in the plot. So in general it was pretty good.

Last night I watched The Hunchback of Notredame.

I haven't seen this movie since it was on T.V. a few Christmases ago. I had an urge to watch it when I saw it in my local Tesco, and so I bought it and watched it last night.

I really enjoyed watching this again, the animation was ace and I thought the songs complimented the film well, especially the introduction :)

Oliver & Company I havn't seen this movie in a long time. The only part I remember from the movie was a poodle singing. Now I know that she, Georgette, was singing "Perfect Isn't Easy". Great movie, I loved it! A+

Last night we watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and it was dumb. Don't get me wrong it was funny (in some spots) but it was just stupid. I really hope they're not thinking of a sequel to this movie.
