I am aghast that after what I said you still think that, but I will leave it alone for the forum, and because it's off-topic.

There's also the idea that there's a soul, that makes you you, seperate from your body at whatever stage it's at, which complicates things. You could even wonder, well, when does the soul come in? When all the DNA is there, at fertilization? And that is all I'm saying.

Yes, you can. In the first few months, it's a lump of cells; in later months, it's a fetus that can't survive outisde of the utures. I'd think you'd at least know your basic facts before you made judgements about people you have no idea of how they live their lifes.

No, no, no. it isn't. It simply isn't. The moment you shoot your sperm into a woman's uterus, that's not "human life". The moment your sperm reaches the woman's egg and fertilizes it, it's not "human life". It won't be anything remotely like "human life" for many months. It will be a lump of cells. It won't be *anything* until much later.

So, not, it's not human life. And therefore, it's not killing. To call it killing is delusional. I don't care what religion or cult you're into, but under no circumstance is it killing. Ask any doctor. Ask any lawyer, for that matter. They will explain you the difference between an abortion and a killing.

So, again, no, it's not human life and it's not killing. It's not. Not ever. Never.

For Shame, the two forbidden topics (religion and abortion) are living on in this thread? Perhaps I wasn't clear when I locked the threads belonging to those topics? The forum is not in a place right now where the subjects of abortion and religion can be discussed in civil manner. Perhaps one day we will be able to discuss them, but today is not that day.

Since this thread has gone off topic and has circumvented forum moderation, I am locking it. However, I do not wish to punish those who wanted to keep this thread on topic, so I will allow a new volume of this thread to be created.
