Is the climax really that bad kin00? I was hoping it would be like 10 minutes long and be all violent with Nirissa smashing everything at the party and pounding her claws into the building while attempting to hurt Giselle (who would save the day). But if it's boring than that's just lame.

Although it's good to hear naother positive review, this movie will be a blockbuster worthy of being placed along side Disney's earlier stuff.

And just a thought I had today, anyone else think that Giselle's wedding dress is just a rip off of the one Sarah wears in that scene in Labyrinth?

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet. I am sooooo beyond excited for Enchanted. Currently I'm obsessed with this film, and I haven't even seen it yet, lol  . It's going to be classic Disney all over again. I am so proud of Disney for making this film, and cannot wait to see it. The characters, actors, and score seem wonderful...I am, as my friend says, uber excited for this film to come out. I plan on seeing it numerous times. Words really can't express how excited I am for this film.

Thank you KinOO for your review. Although I refuse to read any of the spoilers, it was still great to see your reaction to the film. I really feel that this film is going to be a huge success. I know college kids (who are not Disney fanatics by any means, lol) who want to see this. The reaction in the theater whenever the trailer is played is amazing. People seem to be very eager to see this film. I think it's going to be a huge success, and I would like to see Giselle be added to the official Princess Line-up.

I'm not being rude, but that's not lame. In fact if Disney did have Narissa destroying buildings and causing sheer havoc, I'd lose total respect for them. After 9/11 I have NO tolerance for those types of things. I was personally affected by 9/11, in Manhattan. Let’s just say, I'm lucky to be typing this now . I know you didn't mean anything to be disrespectful, so I'm sorry if it seems like I'm yelling at you, because I'm not. All I'm saying is that this is a very touchy subject, and I don't think Disney would ever do something like that.

Have you seen the video Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood?

It's so cool!!! First she is animated and then she becomes real like in the movie!!! :D

i don't really care for carrie underwood, i wish it had been someone else.

but i'm just happy it isn't hannah montana....come to think of it she hasn't made a video for any disney movie, only appeared in the soundtrack of bridge to terabithia

Good point. She's not Hannah Montana. We at least have that.

But, as far as I can tell, she actually moves a little more than Carrie Underwood when she sings. I mention again how uninspired her body language is in that video-she's just standing and walking around with her arms stiffly by her sides!

http://slimtainment.com/idolblog/?p=815 Here's a non-Disney version so you get a slightly bigger box and the ability to move around the little cursor and whatnot!

well, miley lacks of any onstage talent in my opinion, she can't sance and she moves weird when she "sings"

ANYWAY!!!

i don't know if its been posted here, but i found this in rotten tomatoes:
It won't reach theaters until November 21st, but as far as Disney's concerned, Enchanted is already a franchise in the making.

That's the message the studio sent from ShowEast this week. As FirstShowing reports, Disney presenter Diego Lerner "talked repeatedly about Enchanted being a franchise and sequels for the film, and the fact that Disney is expecting it to be huge." The synopsis for the fairytale-with-a-twist is as follows:

A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with the modern, live-action romantic comedy in Walt Disney Pictures' ENCHANTED. Featuring an all-star cast, the film follows the beautiful princess Giselle (AMY ADAMS) as she is banished by an evil queen (SUSAN SARANDON) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan.

Expectations are cheap, of course, and it would be fair to say that the studios expect most major films to "be huge." And there's also the apparent problem of extending Enchanted's storyline, according to FirstShowing's Alex Billington:

I can say after screening Enchanted that I definitely can see it being a franchise, but I'm slightly confused as to how it would continue or what the next story would be. It has a rather all-in-one-package feeling to it, but then again, studios can always create sequels out of nothing, kind of like High School Musical.
IS anyone up for a sequel???

:D OMG I LOVE THIS VIDEO! This song is one of Alan's best!

Every clip we see makes this film look better and better. This was histerical: 'He knows the song too?'. I laughed so hard every time Robert spoke in this thing. :D

I can't wait to see this at the movies. Actually I can't wait to own this on DVD so I can watch it on loop for a week. lol. :D

I have posted on youtube my little music video made up of images from the film. The song I've used is 'So Close.' Once I have some more clips from the film I will finish off the ending and maybe even add some images from the other Disney Princess movies when I get around to it. But for now- Enjoy!

Ariel's Prince I did not say it in a mean way; it just makes me laugh that you always get to replying so fast! :)

I gave in and watched the clip ... .. and I LOVED it! I won't say much because of spoilers etc, but it was everything I hoped and more. I now love Robert as well, as I wasnt too keen on him before.

From here on, I am not going to watch anymore 'Enchanted' videos, so it can be a suprise!

And I am so glad they give little teasers of Alan Menken's previous Disney work. I look forward to spotting them!
