Re: New Mickey Mouse Shorts

I stand corrected once again: "The Boiler Room" is FINALLY being released next, on July 31, followed by "Donald the Sailor" on August 8.
I know what the plot is, I just thought that this would never be released. It was pushed out several episodes. In the meantime, many more shorts with Goofy and even Donald, but not Minnie, appeared, so there was a bit of a break for her.Mickeyfan1990 wrote:Plot for The Boiler Room via my cable provider:

Even though Goofy has only appeared in 3 episodes this season, I still think that they need to give him a break and give us more appearances by Daisy and especially Pluto.Big Disney Fan wrote:I know what the plot is, I just thought that this would never be released. I like Goofy, but I agree with you. They need Pluto more appearances.disneyphilip wrote: Even though Goofy has only appeared in 3 episodes this season, I still think that they need to give him a break and give us more appearances by Daisy and especially Pluto.
I agree, there should be a LOT more appearances by Pluto! I hope Pluto appears again before Daisy does.TsWade2 wrote:I like Goofy, but I agree with you. I highly doubt that Pluto is going to be in the next short. And if Paul Rudish hated Pluto, I'm not sure if he would've had him appear in the series at all.TsWade2 wrote:As much as I think Paul Rudish did a great job with these shorts, but I have a funny suspicion why he's not showing Pluto that much? Does he hate Pluto? If so, why does he hate that cute and cuddly puppy? Or when will he give Pluto another appearance in the next short like joining Mickey's comedic adventure?
That's a very stupid thing to assume.TsWade2 wrote:As much as I think Paul Rudish did a great job with these shorts, but I have a funny suspicion why he's not showing Pluto that much? I'm sorry, disneyphilip, but I just can't understand why Paul Rudish isn't giving Pluto more appearances? It doesn't make any sense.disneyphilip wrote:That's a very stupid thing to assume.TsWade2 wrote:As much as I think Paul Rudish did a great job with these shorts, but I have a funny suspicion why he's not showing Pluto that much? Why Paul Rudish wants to make these cartoons the way that he does doesn't make sense. I don't care if cartoonists like him, Butch Hartman, or Craig McCracken think it's their style. They should see why some of their design choices are pretty bad and unappealing. It's why Professor Utonium on Powerpuff Girls had to be a complete rectangle.TsWade2 wrote:I'm sorry, disneyphilip, but I just can't understand why Paul Rudish isn't giving Pluto more appearances? That is not the point!2Disney4Ever wrote:Why Paul Rudish wants to make these cartoons the way that he does doesn't make sense. TsWade2, I think it's because the writers haven't been able to find good places for Pluto in a lot of the stories.TsWade2 wrote:That is not the point!2Disney4Ever wrote: Why Paul Rudish wants to make these cartoons the way that he does doesn't make sense. Like I said, I could think of several spots where Pluto could be folded into the series: 1) the one with Mickey's goldfish; 2) the one with Goofy as a zombie; and 3) the one with Goofy's grandmother. But maybe the writers know something that the viewers (and by extension, the fans) don't.disneyphilip wrote:TsWade2, I think it's because the writers haven't been able to find good places for Pluto in a lot of the stories.

I think they are not using Pluto is because frankly in the original shorts he was usually the spot light stealer.Big Disney Fan wrote:Like I said, maybe the writers know something that the fans don't.TsWade2 wrote:Well, they need to shape up and give Pluto an important role of the new cartoon that are in the works.
Pluto did have his own series of shorts though.jazzflower92 wrote:I think they are not using Pluto is because frankly in the original shorts he was usually the spot light stealer.Big Disney Fan wrote: Like I said, maybe the writers know something that the fans don't.
