According to Ice, nope. His belief is that since he "added an extra beat" to the opening bassline, it's not a rip-off. Bullshit on my count, though.

Got an R.E.M. playlist going on now, just to depress myself. I finished "Driver 8", am playing "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)", and "What's the Frequency, Kenneth" comes on right after. I'm going to miss these guys.

I had always been fairly neutral/indifferent to R.E.M., until I discovered their political activism and their critique of Reagan/Bush-policies in songs like 'Exhuming McCarthy', 'Welcom to the Occupation' and my personal favorite 'Ignoreland'. While I still love hits like 'Losing My Religion' and 'Shiny Happy People', I think those lesser known songs are the true gems.

One of Björk's newer tracks. Her voice strains through at least half of the 10 songs from Biophilia but when the music gets really heavy (and this is some of her hardest, most thrashing alt-techno to date in spots) as it does for "Crystalline" and this song, the emotion level of her already incredibly pitched vocals turn the entire thing up to 11. As a matter of fact, those "you didn't know"s at the end of the storms here are some of the most touching moments I've heard her produce in the 12 years that she's been my #1 favorite musician. Matthew Cole wasn't kidding about this one:
