I have allways had a passion for disney ever since I was old enough to even know what it was! My all time favorite has got to be alice in wonderland. I will never forget riding the tea cups at disneyland in 1986.... awww the memorys.. I think we have it on video somewhere. I have allways had an obsession for disney. I use to wake up everyday before school and watch the disney channel and ofcourse when I would get home from school my eyes would be glued right back to the tv. I use to collect all the disney vhs and the books to match when I was a kid. a lot of the vhs had been ruined or borrowed and never returned through out the years. And all the books I had were either given away to other family members or donated... I dont remember but I wish I would have kept them

I could go on and on forever but I wont... thats just a bit of my story for the love of disney..

I guess having 3 siblings had us into the Disney theme in my house growing up. I can remember seeing Bambi or Lady and the Tramp at the Drive-In and then falling asleep during 3 Men and a Baby. We used to buy a lot of the clamshells but now that DVD is around, I don't have too many Disney DVD's, mostly the Platinums, Pixar and Treasures, but I love them all the same!

				Hey
DisneyQuack!

my sisters and I were influenced by Disney as kids!

We had most of the VHS, but when we moved to Cali, we had to give them away. I'm lucky that my better half's mom gave me all their Disney VHS!

I've never seen any Disney movie @ a Drive-in...must be a great experience!

Plah, I don't know if I should tell you my whole life biography or just my Disney Story because I really love to tell things about myself although my life isn't that interesting, but still.
Well okay, my Disney Story which I can't remember exactly. I don't know if I got my touch in Disney via an animated classic or a Disney document (we have many on tape), because I remember seeing a scene from Cinderella hundreds of times on that document. I think my first full length animated classic was Lady and the Tramp which my dad bought me and my sister on our European trip (I live in Europe, but we made a trip throught a loads of countries as Spain, Italy, Drance, Denmark..) and we watched it many, many, many times. The funny thing is that I can't remember almost anything of it anymore, but it's a very nostalgic movie.
Let's see, my favourite disney movie in the beginning of the 90's was surely Sleeping Beauty which I first got in touch with when we rented it and I fell in love with it immediately. After that day I watched it almost every day once and that's a reason why I can the whole finnish dub dialogue without any problems. It's still one of my favourites.
There has been a lot of Mickies, Donald's, Goofies and stuff during my Disney Journey besides the classics and it would probably take an eternity for me to write everything about it, so this will be enough.

I've been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are seeing the "Classic" movies in theaters(Snow White,Cinderella,Bambi),and later seeing the new Disney films as they came out..(from Oliver and Company onward,I've seen most of the newer Disney films in theaters, except Dinosaur,Treasure Planet, and Home on the Range).I also like the Pixar movies and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

				My Disney Story....

				Here is my Disney story.
The first Disney movie I saw when I was really little I believe was Robin Hood, and from then on I fell in love with Disney Animated Films and I owned almost all of them, but then my parents got divorced and all my Disney movies went with my Dad, (I don't know why). I was devastated. But then my grandma would rent a different one every weekend for me and my sister, and if we liked them (which we pretty much liked them all) my mom would get them for us for our birthdays or other holidays, or if we had any extra money. Finally, when I reached the age of 5, I saw my very first movie in theaters, the Lion King. It became my all time favorite Disney movie, not only for it's fun songs and beautiful animation, but it was the first movie I ever saw in theaters, and those usually end up being my favorite movies. It still is the only movie that I have cried at EVER. When my grandma first brought it home on VHS I was so excited, I watched it religiously, and almost 11 years later I can still remember all the lines. It wasn't until I got older, and watched it for the first time in a fe years that I really appreciated the beauty of the story behind it, deepening my love for the movie. After seeing Lion King in theaters I saw, Toy Story, Hercules, Pocahontas and Hunchback of Notre Dame(sp?), but after that I never really went to the movies much.
As far as sequels go, when I was about 8 or 9 I saw Lion King II, and I thought it was pretty good, but it was probably the best sequel even if it wasn't that great. I absolutely love Lion King 1.5(or 3) because Timon and Pumbaa are my favorite Disney characters of all time, and it was nice to have a story revolve around them instead of the lions, even though they did have a TV show...plus the animation for LK1.5 was really awesome for a sequel.
Well, it was long, but it is mine.

Hi everyone! I just registered today so this is my very first post here. I found this site when someone on another board I frequent posted the link to the list Luke made of upcoming Disney releases so I was looking at the page and happened to click on a link by accident and wound up at the forum. I'm glad I did. It seems everyone here is super nice.
Anyway, my Disney story...My name is Tabetha though I'm sometimes called Tabbi on the net, I'm 24 years old and I don't remember seeing a Disney movie in the theaters until Beauty and the Beast came out though my parents have said they took my brother and I to see some at the theaters. But we've bought quite a bit of the Disney classics on VHS over the years and I've watched all of them frequently. I also remember seeing them occasionally on the Disney Channel before it started to get 'hip'. I kind of miss the way it used to be...cartoons all the time, Mickey, and the gang, The New Mickey Mouse Club, and tons of cartoon movies. Now there isn't much of the old Disney there. Kinda sad.
As I said the first one I vividly remember seeing in the theaters is Beauty and the Beast, followed by Aladdin, and The Lion King. I didn't really get into the others that followed though I want to See Lilo and Stitch and Pocahontas at some point.
I started collecting the DVDs when they started with the Special Editions and Platinum editions. So far I have Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and now Bambi. I haven't been able to collect too many of my other favorites cause my parents wouldn't buy them for me but now that I have my own job maybe I'll be able to start collecting those that I remember seeing on tv. I am also a big fan of the PIxar movies. Finding Nemo and Shrek are just fantastic!
My other interests in movies are mostly Chick Flicks and the occasional fantasy movie. My favorites are Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter ( though the books are ten times better and am earnestly awaiting the 6th book).
At the moment I am towards the end of the year I was taking off of school to work and get my head back on straight after the disaster I had with Elementary Education Field. My advisor for it just didn't like a single thing I tried to do lesson wise. I am now in a major called 'Specialized Studies' which is basically saying you have a college education but its not specialized in anything specific but you can get a job that require a college education. Though I am thinking of majoring in English or communications. Haven't made up my mind yet.
I think that is about it for me though. Hopefully I'll have fun here!
