Actually, you can have custom skins made for all sorts of devices, that's one of the skins I've been debating on getting (which would match my current wallpaper). ;)

http://www.gelaskins.com/

At the above site you can upload a photo/pic into a template and do edits to create a skin (or use one of their pre-made designs) and it will generate a preview of what your custom skin will look like. :D

I got this back in June but here is a pic of me with my Japanese Odachi sword. They were long swords used by samurai back in pre-1600's. It was used to cut down men on horses. after 1600's they stop using them as they were too long and difficult to wield and/or carry. Now they are used for ceremonial purposes.

Indeed its a fantastic sword!

My dream is to create a room filled with swords and other weapons. My best friend has a killer collection that I envy.

Right now what I have is a medieval dagger I got at a flea market. Its very cool looking. I have to upload a pic later.

Yea I'm a big sword guy. I have that Odachi which you saw in the picture. It's also 5' 8". I have some throwing knives and daggers. And I have another katana which is a replica of Ichigo's Bankai. the blade is black. But the katana is stainless steel and is used mostly for display. If I tried to cut something with it, it would snap. The Odachi on the other hand, is carbon steel and can be used to actually cut stuff. Because it's carbon steel, I have to clean the sword and coat it with WD-40 every so often so it won't rust.

My friend is a big weapon guy and he helps me with all this stuff.

Glad you like the sword. Just so you know, you have to swing that sword with two hands. It's extremely difficult to do it with one.

I got my odachi from really great website. It's called www.swordsofmight.com . The have weapons for fairly reasonable prices and yet the weapons them selves are well made. I got that odachi for about 95$ which is good price for such a sword. My friend gets his weapons from another site but i personally don't their stuff as interesting.

Not stupid questions at all, it actually can't be done unless you jailbreak your phone. ;) Apple's kinda stubborn about not allowing customizations so people have been eager to find ways around it.

Basically if you choose to jailbreak your phone, you're rewriting the system's OS in a way that allows you to do more with your phone, yet still allow it to operate as it's supposed to (which is a scary thought to some, especially since it voids the warranty). There are a lot of websites that explain how to do this, in my case I had Rey do it because he just loves to play with this kind of thing (and it would only confuse me, lol). My phone uses the Cydia application, and from there I use Winterboard to customize different settings, like using the wallpaper for the background. You can also download different themes or tweak/rewrite them to make your own which often customizes everything from the slider, battery pic, background, icons, dock, and more (mine is a partially customized "steampunk" theme, which isn't so obvious in the screencap I show). There's also an application I use called iBlank that allows you to make blank, "invisible" icons, hence why I'm able to arrange my "regular" icons like a frame. :)

Hmmm....I JUST got my phone and looking at the websites about it, not comfortable enough to do it. Too bad. I wish I could though

Yeah, understandable. I'd have been really nervous myself but Rey's such a computer whiz and already did his own phone several months before (as well as my old iTouch that we eventually sold off).

I just ordered 2 books from Amazon (using UD's link- woohoo!):
South of the Border with Disney by J.B. Kaufman, and
The Art of the Princess and the Frog by Jeff Kurtti (that makes me feel okay about buying the not-so-packed-with-bonus-features DVD). For $46.20 total (thank goodness I am posting this- I had originally forgotten to click Free Super-Saver Shipping (I'm saving almost $5!).

For just $10, I bought The Art of Pocahontas book at a local used bookstore. I was so excited to find it- if only they had other Art of books there.

*edit*

I just ordered The Art of Meet the Robinsons for $3.99 (+ s/h) on Amazon, and The Art of Bolt on Half.com for $10.99 (+ s/h).

*edit*

I just ordered Dinosaur: The Evolution of An Animated Feature by Jeff Kurtti for $4.99 (+ s/h) on Amazon- I didn't even know that that book existed!

*edit*

I just ordered another book that I didn't know existed- Walt Disney's Bambi: The Story and the Film by Ollie Johnston & Frank Thomas, $4.99 from Amazon.

I ordered the Oswald pin from Disney Movie Rewards Tuesday.

I also got a book entitled Animation Now! last Saturday for 13.00. It features various companies such as Pixar and Studio Ghibli. One thing that kind of bothers me about it is that the text is repeated in three different languages (the first obivously being english).
