Looks amazing esepecially the exterior. And it's so cool we may boats OUTSIDE OF THE RIDE (Look at 1:15!) I wonder what 2:22 will be (Sctulle's landing???) and look at the deep right at 2:18 and there's a cave thing. I wonder what's it (it could be Sctulle's Landing or Ariel's Grotto).

Thanks for the new videos disneyprincess11!

I don't think the boats seen at 1:15 are actually going to happen. The image is shown while Chris Beatty is speaking about the concept drawing period of the attraction's development, and the models later made of the attraction seem to have a completely different lay out.

I would assume that the dark cave looking thing is going to be a new meet and greet for Ariel. I remember hearing/reading somewhere a while back that they were going to re-locate the grotto near this ride.

Possible concept art for Pete's Silly Sideshow!

From WDWNewsToday:

Image

What is it? That’s a good question. If you look closely, you’ll see some recognizable characters. Starting on the left, you’ll see what we think is “Lambert the Sheepish Lion” standing on a pile of other lions. The photo to the right of that has the seal from “Mickey and the Seal” blowing horns next to buckets of fish. The next photo features the penguins from Mary Poppins forming a pyramid and twirling plates. The next picture has what looks like the Big Bad Wolf blowing up Mickey balloons (Get it? He huffs, and he puffs, and he blows up balloons!). The final photo is hard to make out, but it’s like Bongo the Bear from “Fun and Fancy Free” on a unicycle. There’s another photo towards the top of the image that shows either Mickey Mouse or Oswald the Lucky Rabbit practicing the death-defying feat of sticking a limb in the mouth of a lion, but it’s too small and we can’t see enough of it to be sure.

What are these? We think these are concept art for Pete’s Silly Sideshow coming to Storybook Circus as part of the Fantasyland Expansion. The banners above each set of characters are similar to those that would label each act in a circus or carnival sideshow. Where these will be located in Storybook Circus and exactly what they are (moving dioramas or an animatronic show) remains a mystery. For that matter, these could be rejected concepts from the project. Regardless, it’s an interesting teaser for what might be on the way to the Magic Kingdom, so stay tuned…

----

I love the idea of having all these characters involved especially Lambert as I always loved that as a kid :D

OMG, I remember Lambert! I'm so happy they're adding Disney characters from the old cartoons into the show! Thanks for posting! The castle looks amazing too.

Why do I get a feeling that The Little Mermaid ride in the Magic Kingdom is just gonna be a carbon copy of the one from Disney's California Adventure, except with a different facade? :?

Super A, I think I misunderstood something when you told me about the video of The Little Mermaid ride you saw. I thought you saw a video of Disney World's Little Mermaid ride that I thought you said was bigger and better than the Disneyland one. I'm really sorry if I misunderstood because in real life I misunderstand people a lot actually.

Me too, it's definitely my favourite Disney short so it will be nice to see some sign of characters like Lambert and Bongo in WDW if these plans become a reality.

Yeah it's ok.
Basically I said, that the video I saw was about design and out look of the WDW mermaid ride. I also said that there is another section in it which is scuttle's scavenger hunt for kids.

But in the video was a blueprint layout of the ride and it look exactly like the DL one. It even has labeling of the specific scenes which is identical to DL's.

I did say on this forum though that I find the facade better in WDW than DL's.

For those still upset about the removal of the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty meet-and-greets, insiders on various forums have said that at the upcoming D23 Expo, the executives might explain their reasons for removing those attractions and upgrading the plans for the Fantasyland Expansion. This is still speculation but there are also rumours that they might announce some more smaller additions to the expansion and offer more information on the Snow White mine coaster, including a (hopefully) more definitive opening date.

So, I was just watching the video again, and I froze it at 19 seconds and you can see that the caves to the right of the ride are labeled as restrooms. I wonder where they are planning to stick a Ariel Meet and Greet then...?

-edit-

I also just realized that the blueprint they are showing us in that video above is the blueprint for California Adventure's ride. There's no reason why they would keep the same foundation shape for both rides. I don't think the video is really showing us THAT much into what Ariel's Undersea Adventure is going to look like on the inside.

It is in Eric's castle and a Ariel meet and greet. That's awesome!

Yay! They need to say the reasons. I hope they have a Sleeping Beauty thing after all, plus the rumor on Rapunzel's tower being added is confirmed.

The reasons were apparently concerns over a lack of appeal, the heads of the resort never liking the plans, and worries over capacity (executives apparently didn't want two meet-and-greets that only allowed for a small capacity of guests at a time, causing a large backlog of guests and long wait times).

If they were to announce the tower, D23 would be the ideal time. There's also talk that Disney are reconsidering using SWSA as a meet-and-greet and may look to do something different there, but take that with a grain of salt unless Disney say otherwise.

Does this talk of "something different" involve keeping the space as a classic Fantasyland DARK RIDE? (either saving Snow White or re-theming to another film, such as Pinocchio's Daring Journey).

My fingers are crossed, but like you said I won't get hopeful until we hear otherwise from Disney.

Your guess is as good as mine. I would love them to put a new dark ride in that space, possibly one based on either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty as those elaborate meet-and-greets have been cancelled. But I still think that SWSA will end up as a M&G, Disney aren't not going to have a M&G location for the princesses in the park.

So far several things have been rumoured to possibly be announced at D23: a long-awaited expansion of Animal Kingdom, the expansion of Pixar Place at DHS and removal of the Backlot Tour, the return of the Journey Into Imagination pavilion at Epcot, more additions at MK. It will be interesting to see if any of these will actually come to fruition.

Well seriously what's the point of another meet and greet place?

Ariel, Belle, and Snow White will probably have their own in the new section.
Cinderella's easily can be near/in the castle.

Only one that missing one is Jasmine, Aurora, Tiana, and Rapunzel.
If the Rapunzel tower rumor is true, then that eliminate her as well.
They're going to make a meet and greet section just for 3 other princesses?

Waste of space. I'd find this the perfect opportunity to add a new dark ride like Pinocchio's, Alice, or something new.

AK might get new expansion? Hope it's a South American section.
