Gee. He sounds like a real bully, he does. I think cutlery is more intimidating than that.
Unless of course, tying a young boy to a giant anthill has a secondary meaning that is genuinely scary and hence makes my post look stupid. 
It's not necessarily scary or intimidating, but it is insane.
I mean, think about it. Who the heck talks about tying a 10-year boy to a giant anthill? Who talks to a giant pet lizard? Who changes the lyrics to an innocent tune like "Home on the Range" and make it about brutally capturing and murdering animals? Percival C. McLeach does. The more times I watch the movie, the more I think he needed to be locked up in a mental hospital.

I get the feeling I have failed to understand something. When does McLeach tie Cody to a giant anthill? I thought you were joking or playing with words.

He never actually does it, but in the middle of the movie, McLeach goes on an odd rant, which included talking about tying Cody to a giant anthill. Very random and hilarious stuff, especially coming from the iconic voice of George C. Scott.
