Yay! RJKD23 has a new avatar! Yay! The blank space under the ranking makes us all pretty sad. I know it does for me anyway.

It's soo hard picking an avatar! :(
I was going to put Pooh again, but then there's so many to choose from.
So I stuck with Audrey Hepburn and it loooooks loooovely! :D

I felt soo new without an avatar! ;)

Isn't he the elder Pete from Nickelodoen's "The Adventures of Pete and Pete?"

I thought it was some weird shot of Ron from Harry Potter.

I got this picture from Amazon. It's a cover of one of my favorite books Focus on the Family Baby and Child Care.

I own Breakfast At Tiffany's too. And sadly have seen many many other movies she has made. I consider it a curse, even if she was a good actress. It's the curse of being named after a favorite movie star of your parents. People see your name and automatically connect you to them, saying you look like them and how great of an actress she was, etc. It gets old. Fast.

My avatar is also of Audrey Hepburn. Terrific actoress, lots of talent. I also have Breakfast At Tiffany's on VHS/DVD. I absolutely love that movie.

Here's my explanation: They wouldn't give me an avatar until I made 50 posts.

Jerks. :P

Just what my avatar is, and nothing more. No--I'm not a parent, I'm not pregnant, I'm not planning on being a parent/pregnant. I just enjoy reading the book.

Looks like a good book for anyone that will have to deal with young children at any point in their lives. I think those kind of books are fun to read, too, and although I work with kids for a living, I'm far from being a parent. :)

Thanks, Sunset Girl! :) How do you work with children? I think I've read messages discussing that before...you deal with little ones with mental handicaps, right?

:) Hey, I think it's cool for anyone to look into how the mind of a child works. I think we'd be a lot better off if more people would take the time to do that.

Well, I don't work with any handicapped children specifically, but that can be and has been a part of my job. I run before and after school programs on behalf of the YMCA and so I work with whoever gets signed up for them. I also sub for in a room at the Y where parents can drop off their babies and toddlers so that they can go work out, and it can get pretty hectic in there.

Now that school's out I do extended care for the Y's summer camp, so I'm the one they'll be dropped off with in the mornings and I'll be driving them to the camp on a bus. Even though I've driven around in their huge van for two years and the little bus is about the same size, I'm a little nervous about that last part, I need a whole other license and everything!
