I don't....however....I was in a Huge Target the other day and I Saw like retro classic packaging and possibly the same type of design of box and everything of the 4 differ turtles though they said there was a 5th toy out....that's probably shredder or Splinter.....anyway it came with a dvd all 5 and it says to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Turtles but it looked like it just got time warped from 1986 to 2009 into targetlittlefuzzy wrote:From what I can tell, you would want to get all 4 sets.
I think it is just going to be something like episodes 1-6, 7-13, 14-20, 21-27?
IMDB only shows 14 episodes for season 7, so I don't know, though.
I just hope they don't try to charge as much for each set as they did for some of the complete seasons...
Even at 10 bucks each, that would be $40 for the set, and that seems high just for 27 episodes (especially if any are repeated.) I know, figures are included, but still...
Speaking of figures, does anyone remember the Star Trek/TMNT figures that came out a few years ago?

Wow, it sounds like a lot to take in, eh? Lionsgate will tell retailers that "to celebrate the 25th anniversary, all 27 episodes from Season 7 will be available for the first-time ever on DVD, with a Classic 1980's Turtle Action Figure included with each set! There will be 4 separate DVDs, which each offer a different slice of Season 7 episodes, and feature a specific turtle on the cover. When you collect all 4 DVDs they fit together to create one scene on the shelf!"
They are including the Vacation in Europe episodes, so that is why there are 27.littlefuzzy wrote:IMDB only shows 14 episodes for season 7, so I don't know, though.
Yeah thats how I feel....I mean like I said I applaud their creativity on this....but it's going to be confusing trying to go store to store to store if one "slice" is out..(anyone who has bought the Walt Disney Treasures or tried hunting them down in the past knows what I mean)..that's why I'll be ordering via amazon.com or somewhere online....so the slices come to me...plus i'll save on gas and shipping all at onceChernabog_Rocks wrote:The whole slice thing started as a good/creative idea but the way they're doing it is rather lame. Why didn't they just release each full season as a slice instead of breaking season 7 up into mini sets
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 9 of the Original Cartoon, the Next-to-Last, is Scheduled
Lionsgate informs retailers to expect this DVD in mid-August
Our retailer contacts tell us that Lionsgate Entertainment has scheduled the next-to-last season of the original '80s-and-'90s animated series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 9, for DVD release on August 16th. This production year, the last season with television show developer, writer and executive story editor David Wise on board, consisted of just 8 episodes and so it will come on a single disc. Cost is $14.98 SRP for 176 minutes, with episodes full screen video, English 2.0 Dolby Digital sound and with closed captioning. Package art isn't available so far, but stay tuned and we'll keep you updated!

4 season 10 episodes haven't been on DVD before, plus 3 other episodes that were skipped a ways back for unknown reasons (Once Upon a Time Machine, Planet of the Turtleoids: Parts 1 & 2).milojthatch wrote:Isn't this about close to the end? Very cool.
