Dawn of the Dead you mean, I believe. Been so long I forget.

28 Days was like that though. THAT was a creepy movie. And it wasn't the zombies that really bothered me, it was the living that were disturbing.

In regards to 28 Days Later, they were just like those things from The Evil Dead. Only instead of being possessed by demons, they were infected by a bite. Or blood.

Let's see... It's 12:19 AM now, so there should be another version along in a few minutes... :P

There are quite a few Evil Dead releases out, for all three movies in the trilogy: Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, and Army of Darkness.

Are you saying you don't know the movie was already out? It was made from 1979 to 1980.

I saw Cursed last night. It was better then Darkness and Alone in the Dark combined but still kinda blah.
Will have to wait till Hide and Seek comes out to perhaps see a good new horror.

I don't think I've heard one person say anything good about Cursed.

There's a good reason for that ;)

I thought 28 days later had a good idea.. but just done bad.. After the movie was over.. I wasn't impressed.. It was one of those "Ahh.. ok sure.. scary.. nah" movie... I can't recall the last movie that really scared me.. I think it would have to go back into my childhood again when I was like 15 or so and I saw exorcist.. That scared the crap outta me! I saw the re-release in theaters and the scare factor was gone.. All tho the added part where she goes down the steps backwards upside down.. that was eerie!

Talking about the Exorcist, there´s only one scene that scared me a lot.
(When the phone rings and I woke up)
it was really scary

Yeah, I guess they are remaking it. Which I think it one of the STUPIDEST freaking ideas I've heard in years. Since the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake.

And 28 Days Later was a very good recent horror movie. I wouldn't say it's no good just because I didn't think it was scary. I don't care much for apocalyptic horror myself but I liked this movie.

My mother went to see the Excorcist at the cinema when it first came out and said somebody loudly went "Goggle of Geer" at the head-turning scene, and the whole audience burst out laughing. As a result, nobody could take the film seriously from that point onwards.

Incidently, did you know the film was banned from a home video release in the UK until recently (1999 I think) :?

Weird... Why would it be banned? Maybe the British don't like a good laugh? :? :P

Yeah, I think that movie was taken WAY too seriously.

It was banned for a few reasons. Mostly, the fact that it's about the devil possessing a child. And the other reason were the scenes of Linda Blair where very disturbing for some, especially since this was a child doing and saying those things. People forget she's an actress I guess. I haven't seen it in a long time, but didn't she take a cross and yell "F*** me!" or something? I found that very funny. So was it the scenes that were disturbing or is it that I am disturbed? A little of both perhaps ;)
