i have to say the new CD is almost the best since Butterfly!!!

I never thought there was another hard core Mariah Carey fan on UD! (it's not a bad thing, but I always thought it was only MutantEnemy because ME's the only one updating this thread with info on her!

I used to be a bit of a Mariah Carey fan. But the problem is I liked her song "Someday" and now I can't tell if the CD version is the same as the one she did for the music video. The only CD of hers that I have is that NUMBER ONES cd and that version of "Someday" sucks. But I liked all her songs in the mid-90s, like "Honey", "Fantasy", "Dreamlover", "Always Be My Baby", "Heartbreaker", "My All", and "I Still Believe".

Well, the time has finally come, only 1 day until the release of "The Emancipation of Mimi' If you're a fan or on the borderline please do not hesitate in picking up a record. The CD is hot and all the tracks are excellent, its got a mixture of old-school Mariah, R&B Mariah and hardly any rap.
On that note, if you are hesitant to pick it up, There are many deals where you can get it cheap. Walmart, Circuit City, Target and Best Buy has it for $9.99. At Walmart you get a free music download, at Circuit City you get a free poster, and at Best Buy you get double reward zone points if you are a reward zone member.

The Limited Edition is priced $2 more it includes: Digipak and free poster.

If you buy the limited ED. at wal mart it's $9.72.

The regular edition comes with a free bonus track at wal mart called Secret Love! no available anywhere else! they have it also for $9.72

I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW, on amazon the album jumped, from 21 to 8 and It is number 2 on iTunes both are certain to continue its ascent. I watched Good Morning America with her performing It's Like that, We Belong Together, and Make It Happen, really good. I then went to Best Buy and bought 5 copies there, 2 special editions, 3 regulars, and then went to Circuit City and bought another so I could get the poster, April 12th is officially Mariah Carey Day!!! oh and the day Titanic sank, but they aren't related!!! Enjoy the album, I am!!! Also good review MMB.

By the time I went to circuit city (3:10pm) they didn't have posters left. what did it look like? I'm not to sad I bought the Limited edition and it comes with a free poster I wish it had a DVD.
