My problem with the sequels has nothing to do with the animation, or whether they were necessary or not. It has to do with scripts. Almost invariably, (The Aladdin and Lion King sequels being possible exceptions), the sequels are plotted extremely weakly. A great story can be told with lower production values, but no level of animation can save a shoddy story. And the sad thing is that there are good possibilities for sequels in a lot of these movies. Definitely in Mulan and Tarzan. But the weak, little-kid friendly scripts kill them.

They should have called Tarzan 2, Tarzan 1 1/2 since it's a midsequel not really a sequel. I saw the previews and thought it was okay. Hey come on it's a sequel.

Look for a store that sells used CD's; they seem to be popping up everywhere. A lot of them also sel used DVD's, so you may have a chance of finding a copy at a place like that. Good luck to you.

Well I haven't seen the movie yet but the other day I was at Target and they had this whole shelf just full of the DVDs, there must have been at least 30 of them. And not one of them had a slipcover. I was so suprised. At first, I honestly thought it didn't come with one until I saw them with slipcovers at Best Buy. Anybody else see anything similar? Any reason for this?
