I have no TV shows on DVD. I don't think paying 60 bucks and up for something i've seen on TV is worth the money

Yes...yes...yes.. that's true.
Dan, quit being so practical!

(ahh, you know I'm only joking! You're just tooo cool on the forum man!

)
Well, the reason I buy TV shows is...
1.) I don't have a TV in my room. I watch my DVDs on my laptop

2.) When I want to watch a certain episode, I can't rely on the TV!
But you know what...I only buy TV shows when they go on sale!
Not when they're first released.

Yes, but if you play videogames $50 is the average price.
And besides, sometimes you only have time to watch a 30 min or 60 min episode than 1:30 or more for a movie.

FUTURAMA: all the 4 sets! Huge fan of this show, to bad it got cancelled by FOX, hope each day for a return of Fry and Bender! Dr Zoidberg Rules!
"Bit my shiny metal a.s!!!"
SIMPSONS: only have the season 4 set for the moment.
And i plan buying, someday because it is too expensive for the moment, the DVDs from Dr Quinn Medicine Woman! I LOVED this show when i was young, Jane Seymour and Joe Lando and the stories of the show made me cry as a young lad, while watching the show each tuesday night with my bro and mom!

Yeah, Those dvd's are VERY expensive. I stopped buying them after season 3. So, I just check them out from the library and watch them that way. I'm content with that, cause we can check them out for a month, plus it saves me about $100 per set.
I think the list price for season 5 was $130, but you could find it for $85 here in the states.
It's on tv here still, but on a cable channel we don't get and that is not offered in the county I live in.

I pay between 60-75 bucks for games but thats a whole different thing, and maybe you prefer watching a tv show for 30 mins but i'd rather spend my money on movies, games, etc. then TV series. That's what i prefer. If I don't have time to watch a movie I simply don't watch it at all.

Yeah, all we have different tastes.
I was just pointing out that a series can be $60 bucks but you're getting 5 or more DVD, like around 20 or more episodes (1,040 min).
A game could be $50 and quite long... but you also have to take the time to play it.

Woo Hoo! I spy another F+S fan! Netty will be pleased!
I have given up on getting TV shows new on DVD, as I find that their prices get dropped much more often than other DVDs, and they REALLY get dropped. I bought the Simpsons Season 4 for example on the day of release for £34.99 and within a couple of months it was £14.99!
Although it's pretty, much the same with evrything now, so I'll be waiting for the sales for Simpsons S5.
