Hey, there's nothing wrong with Cadet Kelly - it only freakin' stars Gary Cole (

"We're not worthy!").
The image shows that November's PopEye is indeed the Disney/Paramount movie, which is released by Buena Vista over here:
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... =72&pa=rcs
Not Disney, as such but the following are also on PLAY:
Scrubs S2
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... g=72&pa=sr
Golden Girls S2
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... g=72&pa=sr
Home Improvement S2
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... g=72&pa=sr
As before, all of these are
4 disc sets in the UK, but do not have any additional special features (and have less imagination when it comes to packaging).

*Andy*'s been having sleepless nights.
I best get myself booked in for one then.
And yes finally i can get a good nights sleep knowing that Cadet Kelly is getting a release over here

Looks like we may be getting the next Studio Ghibli wave
The Cat Returns has been added for 26 September.

Still no details on Porco Rosso or Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

Don't forget BonusMage, that The rights for the Cat Returns are owned by Optimum, wheras Porco Rosso and Nausicaa are BVHE, so who knows what will happen, anyhoo...
<a href="
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... gencs">One Magic Christmas</a> is coming on 3/10/05
as well as a
<a href="

Also...
<a href="

<a href="

Ichabod, don't mean to be a fuss, but the link to the SE pack of
Mary, Tarzan and
Lilo seems to be a weak link...it links to the
Pollyanna/Parent Trap box set!
Anyway, some good finds.

On the topic of
The Parent Trap...has anyone got the Region 2 recent release? I saw it in HMV and it lists a number of the bonus material from the Vault Disney disc, but I'm doubting since the similar
Pollyanna didn't. Has BVHE UK gone into the field of false advertising again? If I get
The Parent Trap, I'd get the R1 version by default, yet I'm just curious to hear what the UK disc is like.

talking of non-Disney Buena Vista releases (and boxsets) Play has the
Scary Movie 3.5 disc up for 19 Sept 2005
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... g=72&pa=sr
But you'd be better waiting for this a week of so later:
Scary Movie Trilogy - Scary Movie / Scary Movie 2 / Scary Movie 3.5 - Special Edition for the same price on 3rd October!

(although, quite frankly, I can see
Scary Movie 2 actually
decreasing the overall value of the boxset)

Not Play, but SendIt:

Disney Classics - Animals.
Live action? Animated? Price? Who knows, but worth keeping an eye on.

It's probably a three or so movie pack like the one with
Alice/Aristocats/Dumbo featuring various animated classics, possibly with
Lady and the Tramp actually (since it comes out on the same day).
