Saw the new trailer for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, when we went to see Madagascar, looked pretty good. The original is one of my all time favorite movies.

I've seen the trailer and don't plan on watching it. It looks bad IMO.

i'm really excited for this film. And besides it's not really a remake it's jsut a different interpritation of the film, which i think is ok! besides i heard Maroon 5's version of that one song that song that wonka sings while they are in that huge candy park thingy. it was awesome!!!

I don't think I'll see this movie. Though I like Johnny Deep and Tim Burton, I wasn't a fan of the original movie and wasn't a huge fan of the book. Plus the teaser-trailer looked awful.

Don´t you think that this Charley Wonka is a little alike to the guy of the "Clocywork orange"?

I've seen a trailer to this movie and Johnny Depp sounds and acts just like Edward Scissor Hands. :) Which, freaks me out a little because Edward Scissor Hands freaks me out... sort'a.

Maroon 5 does an AWESOME version of "Pure Imagination." It first appeared on a children's CD entitled "Mary Had A Little Amp." I've heard that it's being used for the new film, but I don't know if that's just rumor. I also don't know if it's on the film's CD soundtrack. It could be a cool addition, though. Either way- check out the song... it's one of their best.
