Has the Song of the South been on TV since 2004? Any chance of it coming on soon?

Well usually a TV station tends to purchase a film for 3 broadcasts, (meaning they can show it 3 times) and the BBC has shown it 3 times in recent years. There are rumours that in where Iger took over in early 2006 he put a block the film being available to anyone including TV stations, so who knows.

I believe ITV are showing it on New Years Day as well as Pollyanna. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is on BBC1 the same day.

Oh Channel 4. As if I didn't love you enough already, now I love thee even more.
Friday 20th June - Channel 4 12:40 pm
The Sword and the Rose
Got to be one of the most difficult to see Disney movies there is.

Just thought that some people could be interested in this...
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Saturday 5th July (aka tomorrow)
1.00pm
Film 4
Since I believe now that all the Channel 4 channels show films in their true OAR (be it 1:33:1 or 2:55:1), this should be being screened in the original Cinemascope.

As it's the summer holidays, it's Disney time on BBC 2. They played
The Three Lives of Thomasina a few days ago, yet I missed it (though not particularly distraught because of that, mind)...
Pete's Dragon
Wednesday 30th July
11:20am
BBC 2
And these two should really be of interest...fairly obscure animated gems from the 1940s when the Disney studio was perhaps at its creative zenith...
The Three Caballeros
Thursday 31st July
10:30am
BBC2
The Reluctant Dragon
Friday 1st August
10:30am
BBC2
Also...
The Incredible Journey
Friday 1st August
11:40am
BBC2
