This is going to be AWESOME!, my family and I can hardly wait till it comes to the theaters

, I am so glad Disney has introduced us to Studio Ghibli films. IMO Studio Ghibli's film quality and storys goes FAR BEYOND what Disney themselfs currently has to offer. I am sure it's going to be great entertainment.

I havent found anything about showtimes or anything for anywhere. But I totally saw the trailer that you're talking about. Gonna be awesome. Even though I have this really strange feeling that I'll be the only person in the theatre seeing it opening night.

Boss,
Famous Players lists it as starting on June 10th. No mention of where though. Maybe phone them.

The wife has allready phoned, the people/kids working there had no idea what she even was talking about, looks like we will have to get ahold of the theater manager. I don't know but imo, I think there will be many more people going to see this film now because of Disney getting involved with these films. My family and I are prof of that.
One of my close freinds that was razzing me and thought I was sniffing bad glue because I got into these type of films, he just bought his young one Spirited Away... so he/they got the bug now too and want to see Howl's lol

Well Howl's gets 35 theatres in the U.S. on June 10th, and on June 17th it gets a wider release(thinking around 900+). But I do not know about Canada.

35 does not seem like many to start with. The wife just heard advertising on one of the local radio stations for Howl's and they are going to give two free tickets away... so we know it's at least coming here, just got to find out where/when.
Since I have got in to this stuff, I have been wondering about the "anime" market. It would be nice to know the statistcs of Canada and the US as far as what area sells/buys more of these films. I think Alberta CND is a big market for this stuff because I have seen large volumes of some of these films sell out at some retailers localy. I know we have a bunch of anime clubs too and I seen more retailers stock other anime products like posters, toys and stuff.

Well look what Million Dollar Baby, The Aviator, Sideways, Finding Neverland, and many others do. The first week they are limited, but once they go wide they start doing better.

I've been trying to look for a theatre in my area that will show it but so far nothing. I haven't phoned around though but usually when I phone no one ever has any idea what I'm talking about and almost 100% of the time I feel like I'm the one who should be working for the theatre.
I'm just going to keep my eye on Tribute.ca since I think they know what they are talking about.

The movie was released last January in France and take my advice, don't Miss it! It is a really magical movie filled with great characters and music. The vision of the moving castle is pure magic! Don't miss it!
Save your bucks by NOT buying Tarzan2 and go to theatres and see this masterpiece

I see that the advertising seems to be gearing up now and that Ebert and Roeper will be reviewing Howls this weekend.
