I just about to post that cover art! :x Oh well, ya beat me to it Wolfie...
At least we now know that Mulan'll be on the side, instead of Mushu or others. Also, it looks like Mulan will be a slipcover....

Yes it will. The press-release confirms that. ;)

Good another slipcover. :) I don't know why, but they look better with the slip covers. I can still manage to find Alice in Wonderland with a slip cover even though I have to yet to purchase it and I seem to be poor every payday after bills..... :(

Just a quick update, Mulan is up for preorder at Disneystore.com and comes with a bonus lithograph for anyone who is interested. Looks tempting...

:D :D :D Thanks for the link Disney Villians! :D :D :D

Mulan is my favorite Disney Animated Feature!!! Then comes the 50's ones, which I have the complete set of except for Cinderella...It's just sad there's only one lithograph, but one is better than none :) !

How come you can't preorder at the actual physically in the mall Disney Store anymore? I went to the Disney Store yesterday to preorder Aladdin, and there were no advertisements to preorder it. Can you only order online? If so, that's sad, b/c I'm not eighteen and I don't have a credit card :(

Kram Nebuer, I am pretty sure you can send a check or money order to the Disney Catalog if you wanted to preorder a movie. Also, I would ask someone at the disney store about the preorder, because they may not be advertising for Aladdin or Mulan this early but will still do it.

I think I would preorder from disneystore.com if their shipping was not so much for just one DVD ($6.95). With free shipping at Bestbuy.com and the cheap first week prices of the DVD it is not worth it...

i'm sorta scared at the thought of Jackie Chan singing. are you sure they dont mean someone like William Hung. Jackie Chan is cool when he kicks butt, but he's not cool when you see him singing.

Thanks for the link, Jens! I agree with Dreamer! I'm excited for the DVD even more now. The screenshots look great! Are those fun facts like pop-up video (VH1) or that thing on Nick@Nite on the Brady Bunch and little facts popped up while you were watching? That sounds fun!

The pop up fun facts look neat, though I was expecting them to appear during the movie itself. Based on the screencaps, it seems they either appear during a "making of", or it's a separate video feature all its own with behind the scenes shots behind each fact.

Does anyone know if/when Mulan II will be released? I'm assuming it was pushed back for the re-release of Mulan.

Thanks a lot, Jens! It seems we're getting a great DVD indeed. I can't wait for the menus to come up.
There are a lot of things I'm very curious about this edition:
-Are they going to use the original short making of featurette made for television or they are going to create a new one (I hope they do)?
-What is this new song "Keep them guessing" about? I have never heard of it... Since it is getting promotional push, I think we can expect it is a family-friendly song, probably sung by Mushu.
-Are they going to include other deleted songs? I would love to hear the songs Stephen Schwartz wrote for an early version of the film, but it doesn't seem very probable they are going to include those songs.

Well, in 102 days we are going to find it out! :)

Thanks a lot, Aaron! Glad you liked it! :) I think everybody was getting sick of my last avatar (as good as I thought it was :D ), so it was time to change it.
