can anyone whose had alot of experience with amazon confirm that "shipping soon" means that I will get it? Or should I skip school and go to bestbuy?

Amazon have shipped my copy of Tomorrowland to me in Lux already...

It's strange though, this order was placed after the order I did on behalf of colleagues (9 items in total) and that still hasn't been shipped!

I reckon we'll all get what we ordered...

I've ordered several dozen times from Amazon and every time I've gotten a "Shipping soon", I've received my order. Tomorrowland is even UNavailable from Best Buy's website, so I'd lay my hopes with Amazon.

Thank you very much Luke. I guess I'll rest peacefully now that I am sure to ricieve it. I might get one from bestbuy anyway, just in case.

My tomorrowland is still "shipping soon". I ordered it together with a book, but I doubt that that is causing the problem

When did you place your order? DId you order them all from Amazon? Are they coming in one shipment or multiple shipments? Just curious...

I ordered them all from Amazon on May 5th and it changed to shipping soon on the 16th and on the 17th it changed to shipped and I used free shipping. All four are comming together and the shipping pattern looks the same as it did for the Monster Legacy Set which I ordered at the begining of the month, so I am almost sure it willl arive by the end of the week probabbly on the 20th. Even though it said until yesterday shipping date May 25th and it still says delivery date between the 27th and the 29th.

That really irritates me that yours have shipped, and mine have been on preorder months longer than yours and mine have NOT shipped! I did choose standard shipping, and my delivery estimate is 5/22-5/25. I guess if I don't get an email by 5/19 saying they have shipped, they will have one angry customer on their hands.

I something too smile about today

Well, got two e-maiols stating that 3 of 4 are shipping.
The last is pending approval...whatever the heck that means.

On a sidenote on an e-mail ad from BestBuy.com only THREE of the FOUR Treasures were listed.

I ordered all 4 from Amazon on January 20. They broke them into 3 shipments:

Shipment #1: Micky Mouse in living color

Shipment #2: Tomorrowland & Chronological Donald

Shipment #3: On the Front Lines

All three shipments say shipping soon. I e-mailed them yesterday and they replied that they do not ship before the release date. This is bull as they have shipped to me in the past a few days before the release date (so that I received them on the release date). I am so irritated!

As of this morning, 18 May, Amazon still has not even started processing my August 8th order for the 4 Treasures DVD sets.

I was planning on buying an extra set as gifts at my local stores - but, if Amazon still has not processed my order, I'll just cancel Amazon. I just may cancel Amazon permanently - they've messed up on several recent orders.

I'm surprised about all these bad things about amazon.com. Personally I can't complain. I ordered around May 5, and I now have this email:
Greetings from Amazon.com.

We thought you'd like to know that we shipped your items today, and that this completes your order.

Thanks for shopping at Amazon.com, and we hope to see you again soon.
The following items were included in this shipment:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Qty Item Price Shipped Subtotal
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Walt Disney Treasures - Mickey $23.09 1 $23.09

1 Walt Disney Treasures - The Ch $23.09 1 $23.09

1 Walt Disney Treasures - On the $23.09 1 $23.09

1 Walt Disney Treasures - Tomorr $23.09 1 $23.09

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Item Subtotal: $92.36
Shipping & Handling: $5.95

Super Saver Discount: -$5.95

Promotional Certificate: - $0.20

Total: $92.16

Paid by Visa: $92.16
Here's a theory: when I order a DVD from the Internet I usually order from DDD. So maybe amazon.com is more efficient with non-regular customers to turn them into regular ones, and THEN be not so efficient with them :D

So one of my two fears is put to rest. I have tomorrowland, now I only need to worry about broken tins etc.

I received an email from Amazon this morning stating mine shipped. I went crazy and paid for overnight shipping and they are, according to UPS, out for delivery this morning!

Went to Walmart this morning to check to see if they had received them-they had not but had slots for them. They were 24.00 each.

Good luck to everyone today in finding these "Treasures"!

Good thing I ordered mine

Also, I wonder if Tomorrowland will show up at all. Not that I always believe Internet rumors, but the fact that it was OFF the release list in Disney's website is quite significant.

Well, all four are shipping together and my order has finally changed to shipping soon. So hopefully by tomorrow they will all have shipped and be on their way to me :)

I wouldn't worry-if Amazon states they shipped you all four, surely you will get all four. I am counting on that myself, as well!
