If anybody would like a chance to buy the Frozen Castle Collection items coming out this month, Disney is introducing a new lottery system called MerchPass that should make the online shopping experience more efficient and fairer.

I'm glad ShopDisney did something- I've read stories of people getting screwed on the site for these limited releases.
the items may be available on shopDisney or in stores at a later time for people who don’t get selected.
That's good to know, too.

So, um, this isn't regarding the Disney Castle Collection, but a similar thing to what we were just talking about. I'm just Googling TBC images to make new signatures/avatars, and I just learned that a few days ago there was a new 35th Anniversary TBC pin. https://www.shopdisney.com/the-black-ca ... 14473.html

Of course ShopDisney is sold out, and of course eBay is crawling with them. :( I know that Disney or any other company can't really stop people from selling on eBay, and some of the prices on eBay aren't exorbitant, and I have no $ anyway, but it's the principle, you know? I'd rather have given Disney my $. Super cool pin, though...now that I know it exists I can keep a watch for it on eBay in the coming months...

I wanted that cute new Oliver and Company pin and they sold out faster than I thought they would(I mean I didn't think it'd be a pin people would be clamoring for.) I think the scalpers buy up all the obscure less popular movie pins too b/c they know Disney will make very few of them and their fans are desperate for merch. :|

at least there's still Loungefly...

^ I had no idea LoungeFly sells pins! I just looked & they do have some Oliver & Co. ones- have you seen them?!

yep, I want to pick up the booster set.

Loungefly is great in that they will make product for the more obscure films/characters but they have the same problem that Disney Store has with scalpers, depending on how limited the product is. There was a cool light up Oliver pin released a month back but it immediately sold out. I didn't even know it existed until I started seeing the pin show up on eBay with crazy prices. :|

Mulan's set releases Friday. I wouldn’t buy it because it’s too big, but the figurine looks especially pretty this time IMO.

That does look pretty nice!

I remember being a little unsure about how this one would turn out, but it looks like it was foolish of me to doubt Disney's ability to make the palace stand out.

Yes, it's much prettier than I ever expected.

I've recently moved to Atlanta, and went to one of the local malls over the weekend. When I went inside the Disney Store, I saw a couple of the Cinderella castle figures! They're still $150, and they look gorgeous even from the box!

While I'm in a better place now financially, I still think that I'll need to pass on this, but I needed to share for those who want one. Look for your nearest Disney Store!

Snow White's Castle

Rapunzel's Castle

Rapunzel's has got to be the most beautiful one so far! And I always hated that design! lol

Yeah, that looks much better than Corona ever does in the movie. Snow White's castle, too, doesn't look exactly like the movie to me either. I guess they're embellishing to get more sales.

Snow White's is really looking good! I can't spend $ on it, but I'm loving it! (I like Punzie's too but Snow's is amazing.)

Both look very nice, and I was also a skeptic of Rapunzel's.

If they're able to make the other castles look so good, I may have to splurge on Agrabah.

Glad you like the one for one of your favorite characters, Amy!

I'm glad you feel similarly on Rapunzel's, guys!

I hope Agrabah's is good for your sake Avaitor!

Sleeping Beauty's was a bit of a letdown. I actually think it's the worst one so far.

I actually really like how the castle looks! So far none of the castles are let downs for me! Sleeping Beauty's looks so appropriately medieval.

Wow, they ruined Agrabah! :o Apparently the series has deteriorated since both SB and now Agrabah especially are really bad, imo. I dread how the TLM one will look now. At least this takes any temptation away from me.
