A Star Is Born is eligible this year, even though it won two awards at the last ceremony:
Wait, didn't A Star Is Born get nominated last year?
Yes and no. While the lead single from the Lady Gaga-Bradley Cooper awards darling, "Shallow," was eligible last year -- and was nominated for four GRAMMYs, winning two: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media -- the full soundtrack was not released within the eligibility period and will thus be eligible for nominations at this year's awards.
While A Star Is Born missed out on Album of the Year in the 2020 nominations, it did land a nod for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, as well as a Song of the Year recognition for "Always Remember Us This Way."
The true weirdness comes, however, in the category of Best Song Written For Visual Media. "Shallow" won this GRAMMY in 2019, and Gaga is nominated again in 2020 for "I'll Never Love Again." If she wins in January, she'll almost certainly be the first person to win back-to-back GRAMMYs in the same category for the same project.

I wouldn't be surprised if it won in the "Best Song Written for Visual Media" category again this year.
Looks like "I'll Never Love Again" did win. It was my favorite from ASiB, so I'm not mad. And at least it wasn't PIXAR.

Glad to see I'll Never Love Again finally recognized. It was also my favourite song of the movie.

Songs which were written by him that I like are When She Loved Me, Down in New Orleans and Almost There.
Absolutely agree with the first part. Even as a
Toy Story-loving child, that song bugged me.
Also agree with the second part, but I do also enjoy "Friends on the Other Side". There's a reason that those are the only songs from the movie to retain any traction today (although I guess "Dig a Little Deeper" also has a little bit, being featured in the daytime castle show at Magic Kingdom- it's probably the next best song in the movie, too). I still feel that
Princess and the Frog had a lot of the right ingredients, but a better soundtrack from a better songwriter would've helped to make it a bigger and more memorable hit.

I'm glad "I'll Never Love Again" won. I think it was the best song in the category. Personally, I prefer "Shallow", but both songs are great.
A Star Is Born has won a total of 4 Grammys between last year's ceremony and this one. Disney, however, didn't receive any award despite all the nominations
The Lion King got.

Wasn't Idina confirmed as performing earlier or am I imagining that? Does this mean Idina won't perform this year?

Yes, Idina was confirmed to sing. I think what has been announced now is that Aurora will also perform the song alongside her.
EDIT: I've checked the press release where Idina was announced to perform, and Aurora's name already appeared there among the song performers, it just doesn't appear in the title. So, yes, both will perform the song together:
This year’s Original Song nominees and performers are as follows (in alphabetical order by song title):
“I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away” from “Toy Story 4” – Performed by Randy Newman
Music and Lyric by Randy Newman
“(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from “Rocketman” – Performed by Elton John
Music by Elton John; Lyric by Bernie Taupin
“I’m Standing With You” from “Breakthrough” – Performed by Chrissy Metz
Music and Lyric by Diane Warren
“Into The Unknown” from “Frozen II” – Performed by Idina Menzel and AURORA
Music and Lyric by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez
“Stand Up” from “Harriet” – Performed by Cynthia Erivo
Music and Lyric by Joshuah Brian Campbell and Cynthia Erivo

Thank goodness and thank you for confirming! I was afraid for a second that Idina had been cancelled for some reason and only Aurora would perform. My only wish is that they would get another slot to sing Show Yourself as well.

That's clever. That way Menzel won't have to sing live for too long and screw things up. She'll probably even have the easy lines.

What a wonderful idea! I'm really looking forward to the performance more than I was. I know I've listened to the various performances of "Part of That World" in other language versions of The Little Mermaid and liked most of them, so it'll be fun to hear what Elsa sounds like for other countries, too.

Yes, it's a great idea! It'll make the performance more interesting. And I'm glad Elsa's singing voice for Spain is among the chosen ones. Here's an interview with Idina Menzel, Aurora and the international performers:

Idina and the other Elsas gave an incredible performance regardless of the loss. I don't think anyone expected Frozen II to win Best Song.

Nobody really expected it to win when Elton John was up for a legacy award. I enjoyed the performance and Idina did fine, although I wasn't surprised she brought those third "Into the unknown"'s down a little lower for the live performance. Her face when Eminem was singing was worth it to have her there.

I liked the performance too. All the musical numbers were quite well staged this year in my opinion. I just wish they had given Aurora a close-up like they gave Idina the other Elsas. It seemed a bit unfair to me that she wasn't shown as much as the others.

I know this is mean, but it's also true: when Newman was singing his song at the Oscars, I honestly didn't know what he was saying until near the end. I kept hearing the repeated "I can't let ya" as "Itutelage."

He's a serviceable songwriter in general, even good on occasion, but he's a terrible singer. He has an awful singing voice and he slurs his words. It has nothing to do with his age. He's always been like this.
