Death on the Nile interests me, but probably not enough to see it in theaters.

So, most of those are Fox films, right? Is it curious that Disney feels fine to release their Fox films to the theater but not other films? I'm really not criticizing so much as being genuinely curious.

The predominant theory is that there are legal issues surrounding the films they inherited from Fox that doesn't alllow them to bypass a theatrical release.

^ That makes sense; thank you! I was wondering if theaters would boycott any Disney releases due to Disney's new reorganization/prioritization of streaming, but unfortunately, theaters are not in the position to be boycotting any new releases, I'd assume.
