A new Descendants Short Story has been released, entitled "Audrey's Royal Return." Here, Audrey (Sarah Jeffrey) complains about Mal to the staff of a beauty salon, where she gets made up to the way we see Audrey in D3.

Sad news to report: Carlos de Vil actor Cameron Boyce has died at the age of 20. No f'n joke.

OMG that's shocking. This is so unexpected and there's no cause of death yet either to explain why this happened. God bless his soul and my heart goes out to his loved ones right now. I can't even imagine what they must be going through.

The Mirror newspaper in the U.K. reports there is a strong possibility that the premiere of D3 may be delayed in light of Cameron Boyce's death.

Cameron's third Descendants film was scheduled for release in the US on August 2.


Disney is yet to confirm whether this will still go ahead after the tragic news.

Oh wow. I didn’t think I’d recognize him because my days of watching Disney Channel are long over and he was so young— most the stars I grew up with are pushing 30 now. But no, it’s that little boy from the Descendants. How extremely sad. May he Rest In Peace.

It has been revealed in a promo that Audrey is the real villain. Sheesh, Disney. What did Sleeping Beauty ever do to get crappy treatment from Disney as of late? That rap is cool though!

There's a theory going on that Audrey and Mal were switched at birth and Audrey is actually Maleficent's daughter and Mal is Aurora's daughter. That would be more interesting than the typical seemingly-good-guy-turns-out-to-be-evil trope but I'm not sure how I feel about the message that nature trumps nurture. It would go against the central theme of the franchise.

That reminds me a lot of the twist in The School for Good and Evil, for anyone who is familiar with those books so I hope they'd come up with something more original than that.

haha I was just gonna postthere's a doll coming out that basically spoils that she's the villain.

I guess the movie was ceap considering Dr. Facilier is played by an umkown actor and i have never heard about the guy who plays Hades.

We spend money on stars i gusus when your audince is kids you proabbly asume won't notice if the acting is good or bad.

I hope we get a big budget live action Hercules were a big name actor get to play Hades !

Then again maybe no respable actor or actress besides Debbie Reynolds for some reason wants to be in a Disney channel original movie. I say i can't blame them !

They were marathoning the first two movies over and over yesterday. I've only watched bits and pieces of it in the past. It's one of those things that make me cringe a little and I turn the channel, force myself to turn it back a minute or so later, lol. I don't know, it made me sad to watch it now knowing one of the main cast has passed away. So young.
