Ariel and Eric are singing "If Only" in those Instagram Videos too!

Hopefully they cut Triton’s and Sebastian’s parts*, and turned it into a duet like it was in the demo (only I hope they do keep the very ending--“And at the ball, what will occur…”--from the version on the OBC recording instead).

*I always hated their parts of the song—especially Sebastian’s, ugh.

I really like Sebastian's part ("I'd simply wave my claw and make your dreams come true" was the part that made me cry always the times I saw it live lol), I would be sad to see it go


Amber Riley's Emcee will not only be introducing Daughters of Triton, she sings the whole, apparently.

Hopefully she plays Carlotta. She'll get to sing one line in "Beyond My Wildest Dreams." But maybe they'd let her sing at the end as credits roll or something.

The message she left on Facebook seems to imply she’s only introducing the broadcast, but hopefully they will “surprise” us and have her sing Part of Your World, as Divinity suggested. What a waste to have Jodi Benson there and not ask her to sing something!

Maybe they can bring back the goldfish from the Masterpiece VHS to accompany her introduction? That would be a strong hit of nostalgia!

I enjoyed the new lyrics they gave Queen Latifah to sing. I have a feeling this is what the movie's soundtrack will be, for the most part--a duet, "Her Voice" and "Fathoms Below" for Eric, and a reprise of "PUS" for Ursula. I'm thinking now that the reason "Beyond My Wildest Dreams" was left out is because Miranda will be writing a new (inferior) song for Ariel in its place in the LA re-make.

I thought everyone was okay except for Shaggy as Sebastian.
