I believe they played the song during The Sound of Music sing-a-long a few days ago, and the lyrics really didn't tone down the sexual nature, imo, because they were showing them jumping into bed right around the "thrice daily" or "acrobatic" line.

I'm really warming up the previews. The overall filthiness of the lyrics is surprising and awesome considering it's an ABC show.

How this was ever given the green light I will never know. Maybe some kind of deal with Menken? They owe him an Emmy to complete his EGOT...

Not feeling it on Galavant. Really dull, slow, and boring and the jokes aren’t that funny. They’re rather stupid. Like the Yo Mama jokes? It’s 14th century!

I enjoyed it more than I expected. The commercials started to make me think this was going to be cringeworthy, but it was okay. Not great, but okay. I'll definitely catch the rest of it.

I'm not sure about the song titles, but I thought the other songs were better than the main one (which was a touch annoying...but it might be that I've heard it too many times). The song while Galavant was traveling and "Not the Worst Ever" (I'm guessing that's the title) were probably my favorites. I liked King Richard's song, but the way it ended was a bit anticlimactic. King Richard turned out better than I thought he would be from the advertisements. I like the direction for Madalena, but the actress, not so much.

I can't believe they didn't even preview the next airing. ABC must really care about this, don't they?

I really liked it! I can't believe I'm saying this, but ABC has a few good shows: 'Modern Family', 'How to Get Away with Murder' and now 'Galavant' (I've heard great things about 'Black-ish', but I haven't seen it yet). But, yes, the old lyrics were even better. And I love how bitchy and slutty Madalena is!

I thought it was pretty mediocre, actually, which is sad because I really wanted to like it. I'll finish watching the series because there are only 3 more weeks for it, but I'm hoping it improves.

Tried very hard to watch this last night. Recorded it on my Contour Six and tried to watch it again this morning. I give up. It wasn't funny, and some of the "jokes" were tired and have been done better in other shows. The music was so-so, and the acting was terrible. Probably won't watch the next three episodes. Just patiently wait for "Once Upon A Time" to return.

It wasn't the greatest thing ever, but it wasn't too bad, either. I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts.

Watched this a few days ago and it looks interesting enough to continue watching.

Some songs have been released on iTunes. They are slightly different from the TV versions (Galavant, for example, have a bigger chorus singing along and sounds very different).
I'm just here crying on my corner because I can't buy them. Damn the day I born in this country.

I would think they would show it in the UK. I'm not sure, but I think most of the cast is made up of British actors? Ricky Gervais is also making an appearance. I'm not sure if the ratings will make a difference, but it's currently being touted as the comedy with the best ratings since Black-ish (even though I'm expecting the ratings for the next airing to fall...).

The ratings actually stayed strong. I wonder if this might end up getting a second season? I've enjoyed it so far, I wouldn't mind.

As far as last night's episode, Hugh Bonneville... I also liked how they threw a sitcom cliche (mom meets future daughter-in-law) into this setting, combined with a coming out story?

I wonder if this show will get a soundtrack?
