loved it, loved the lighting especially. Though I prefer the look of Paperman b/c it showed more linework in the art. Still would love to watch a feature length film in this style.
Now get ready for the next couple years of Disney being asked if they are going to make a film in the "Feast" style and them trying to dodge the question with "we still love experimenting with new styles, but our next film will be regular CGI! b/c its what our directors prefer!"

I like it.
Didn't impress me like Paperman, but then again, it looks quite different. Can't wait to see it in full on the big screen.

Not sure if this has been posted yet - but I remember feebly attempting to describe the short test "Pet" that Patrick Osborne did before Paperman and Feast, after seeing it at Disney Inspire Days. Well, now you can check it out for yourself!

Patrick Osborne has left Disney and he's now directing a new short film for Google. He's also directing a feature for Fox Animation as well as a live-action/CG hybrid TV series for ABC. #anotheronebitesthedust

I think the opportunity of creating a 360 degree film is something that would be very hard to say no to. I think what he is going to do with Google is amazing. Same goes with John Khars and Lino Di Salvo, even Clay Kaytis, saying no to director gigs would be rather idiotic to do. Disney Animation still has some of the awesomest artists, who's not to say that people from other studios leave all the time anyway? Look at Pixar, Teddy Newton has gone to Paramount Animation, Doug Sweetland, Jan Pinkava and many others have left to move on and do great things.

An effect called "live air" was incorporated during shot production of "Feast" to bring a sense of depth and stylized motion to Winston's world.
