I do agree that it's poor by today's standards, but I wouldn't call it godawful. It is clearer than the UK DVD release, though, if a little smeared. I streamed the clip kylemj provided to my 50 incher, and when I sat at the right distance, it was definitely watchable. That clip is pretty clean too. Of course, the cleanliness has almost definitely been achieved using automated cleanup software and not via a painstaking frame-by-frame restoration.

Guys, I need to ask something. Did those of you who purchased the Disney Animated iPad app notice that the clips from the package films (in the Timeline section) seemed surprisingly colourful and clean? It's a shame the app doesn't let you view the clips fullscreen, as I suspect that despite looking so tiny, the clips are probably at least in standard definition. I'm wondering whether the films have been restored, and have HD masters waiting to be slapped onto Blu-ray or HD Digital Download. I hope it's the former.

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers coming to 10th Anniversary Edition Blu!!!:

https://d23.com/d23-events/vaults-micke ... 23_FanFare

"Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Disney’s swashbuckling adventure, Mickey, Donald and Goofy: The Three Musketeers, coming to Blu-ray Special Edition in summer 2014! Join Mickey and all your favorite Disney characters in this outrageously funny take on the timeless tale. Best buddies Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are small-time janitors with big dreams of becoming Musketeers. They may not look like heroes, but, powered by teamwork and friendship, they soon discover they can accomplish anything if they work together. Packed with six rousing songs and now fully restored with new and classic bonus features, this heartwarming family film is better than ever on Disney Blu-ray and High-Def Digital. It’s “All For Fun And Fun For All!”

Definitely on my list! :D

LMAO at the hideous Hercules cover. It looks like Megara is the main character though, which is good.

But I absolutely despise most of the Disney blu-ray covers so I'm not surprised.

Italy is also getting Snow White and Beauty and the Beast re-releases (alongside Greece and Spain) :)

its a no-win situation with the covers, theyre either lazy Photoshop(clip art!) rush jobs or brand new art where the characters are drawn off model & ugly.

So, Snow White gets the same release Pinocchio got after the Platinum release. Just the main movie and none (or almost) of the extras.

Questions are:

1. Would they be released again as Diamond?

2. If they release them again as Diamond; would they release the same original release or one with just some?

If they chose to re-release the title, why not release the Platinum Edition instead of the Diamond Edition? seriously, I think that would make a lot of fans, including me, ecstatic. And about the "new" covers, I just hate to see that they've only written Disney, instead of his full name. Considering that it's Snow White we're talking about, I think that would be appropriate.

Disney seem to be dropping 'Walt' and 'pictures' from all over place.
I was very disappointed when they dropped them from the castle logo.
Just saying Disney above the title of a film such as 'Snow White' seems very wrong.

With this release in Italy/Greece/Spain among other weird releases in the UK, I am seriously wondering if Disney are dropping the Vault in Europe and all we will get is empty releases like the Limited Issues from DVD early days. Please I hope not.

FRANCE

TLK (2D and 3D) and its sequels - May 21
Snow White - end of 2014
BatB and its sequels (it's unclear if these are BD releases - I doubt it) - beginning of 2015

Excellent! I recently got a 3D Blu-ray player, so I'll get the 3D edition of The Lion King. Hopefully, they'll re-release the 3D edition of Beauty and the Beast as well.

Sleeping Beauty is getting a blu release in the UK! The trailer was attached to the Saving Mr Banks blu. It doesn't specify what edition it is, or when it will be released, just that's it's coming soon.

Is it the Diamond trailer without the Diamond and Digital HD references or something else entirely?

Why are these titles being reissued? Are digital copies coming with them?
