just to update. I now own 449 dvds. this includes disney, but counts 2-packs as 1 (toy story 2-packs) each tv dvd counts as 1.

wow 449!! i have too many!

241 DVDs total (and I'll assume majority of them are romance )

and in our Disney folder on DVDAficionado..it contains 35 DVDs or sets.

i say that's an accomplishment for non-working college students.

Everyone should now sit down and breath a sigh that you don't have my problem. Before the burglary of my house I had in excess of 1800 DVD titles, that is counting each titles as one, multi-disc, box sets, all count as one.

If you click on My DVD Collection! you see that I still have over 1500 DVD's and I just got my insurance check and will be out shopping for the replacement titles that I really want to replace and then to save for the future Disney titles that will be coming.

I have 101 DVDs, 25 of which are Disney. I also have 18 total discs on tv shows (Boy Meets World 1 and 2, Celebrity Mole: Hawaii, Full House, Lizzie McGuire, and That's So Raven). I also have 55 VHS, 9 of which are Disney.

On my "To-Buy List", I have 72 DVDs, though I probably won't be getting them all anytime in the near future.

Without doing it properly (just a cursory add sum divide while reading the posts and no double checking nor making sure I got it right ) and without counting the titles on the linked lists , the average UDie that posted has between 300 and 400 DVD titles.

Man,now I feel ashamed (but hey, at least I´m one of the most-DVDs guy between my acquaintances whit 356 DVDs plus in 6 days I get my most precious DVD !!!!)

I have 72! I just bought Be My Valentine Charlie Brown today. I feel like such a weenie. Everyone else has DVD totals in the hundreds.

I have 422 DVD's - 250 of them are Disney.

I have 188 DVD's. 33 of those are Disney. 7 of them are tv shows on dvd.

My dvds sold w/ 2 movies are counted as 1 dvd (example: Aladdin 2 & 3 are counted as 1).

I have 729 right now, counting each title as 1 (box sets, double disc sets, etc.)

When I add the extras in box sets (where each disc has their own keepcase, but not slimline cases,) bonus discs, and titles that have two or more movies, I get another 174 discs.

I recently traded over 85 DVDs to Blockbuster when they were doing a $8 trade-in promotion (now over.)

Last count was over 200. I don't remember the exact number, but it was 200-250

I have 35 in all. But I count box sets as one not each disc that the set comes with. I guess I buy other things besides dvds. If I wanted to I could easily spend tonnes of money on dvds but I'd be living on the streets then wouldn't I. If all I did was spend my money on dvds all the time. I guess when you're an adult you have other expenses besides collecting dvds.

I have around 170 right now, including box sets such as the Simpson, and Seinfeld. I have 5 on the way, but unfortunately with school I am not able to spend as much money on dvd's as I would like.

38 DVDs, not counting a number of ones that I bought at the dollar store ages ago (that I never watch).
