Well tonight I am going to add Tracy Bird to my list!

Well I met Amy Grant and Vince Gill. They were very kind and very real. Meeting Amy was almost surreal, and I was very nervous. Still, it was nice. The Christmas concert they delivered was so well-put together and felt both grand and intimate at the same time- better than last year's, I think. I'll update my original list to reflect this.

I have another Amy Grant concert to add to my list (my 5th!). Probably the best I've been to yet... wonderful set list, unbelievable energy, great vocals, and the audience was extremely receptive and responsive. She performed with her normal band as well as the Charlotte Symphony-Orchestra.

Oh, and also, it's not exactly a concert, but I did see the last part of a John Edwards speech live the other day. He's a professor at our school now and he was speaking, so I ducked in between midterms.

Re-Invention Tour in Vegas (I won tickets for this one from MTV, and was on the stage, in the "pit". AMAZING concert!)

Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera (I won tickets from a local radio station for this one)

and I am sure there are a few more. I just can't think of them, right now.

The last concert that I went to was a Green Day one. I'm not particularly a big fan of Green Day but my friend invited me to a concert, so I said yes. It was amazing! I had so much fun! My favorite part was when they sung "We are the campions" (which was originally sung by Queen). The GD version is actually very good but of course, the Queen version will always be the best.

Sad to say that I don't go to concerts...

The only one I remember was a Nickelodeon concert in Camden in either 2000 or 2001. Didn't care much for it, the groups I remember seeing were LFO, Bewitched, a lot of teenybopping groups of the time. And we only went because my cousin Kate was a member of I5, an underrated group that has since dissolved. Interesting to note that Disney's The Cheetah Girls did a horrible cover of one of their songs, "Cinderella".

After a long, long wait, I finally saw Aerosmith in concert last night! It's the "Rockin' the Joint" tour and Lenny Kravitz opened (with a very long set). The concert was great... we had 5th row seats and then got to walk up to the stage and stand there, just a few feet away from Steven Tyler.
