Good, because I think you're missing something from your Underrated list.

Chris - very good point. Disagreements here are not that important.
Although Tangela and I are quite clearly disagreeing on our lists, it is nothing personal. Merely a discussion of art, and our own personal interpretations of that art.
Although I do not think much of her picks, she is quite obviously a fine person as evidenced by her charitable endeavors.
Cheers to you all.

I have many on both lists, but the only one I feel worth mentioning is The Lion King: it is completely overrated. Yes, it was good, but just good: not great, and not a masterpiece.
And don't get me started on Lion King 1 1/2-I don't understand how it's one of the better DTV's. Sure, the animation's great, but there's no story.

Personally, it's a disney movie that no one really watches anymore. Oh well, here's a list of movies from me:
Underrated
The black cauldron: Really great, people don't respect it though, because it was the first (source from a disney website) PG rated ANIMATED movie.
The sword in the stone: not alot of people watch this one anymore. It was one of my favs, but sadly, we don't have it.
Treasure planet: Animation was good, story line was wonderful, voice acting great, but not alot of people saw/liked this one.
The fox and the hound: No one watches it because it's sad. I love the movie. It was the movie I would really watch alot as a kid.
Robin hood: C'MON! This movie was wonderful! Fun, exciting, adventure, romance, comedy, everything mushed into a cute film!
Overrated
The lion king 1/2: This movie was cute, funny and wonderful, but everyone keeps talking about it. It wasn't the BEST, but it was good.
Finding nemo: I loved it, but it's something you should only see with family or just once or twice. Not an everyday movie. kept going into depressing, then funny/adventure, then back to depressing.
Monsters Inc: *looks at avatar* LEAVE ME ALONE! >.<* This movie is SO anoying. I love the way they made them look and the voice acting was WONDERFUL, but....c'mon. If you keep talking about it and saying how good it is, someone's gonna start to dislike it. *waves hand*.....what? T_T
besides, the only reason I watch it is of randall. He's so cool! ^.^
The jungle book: WAAAAAAAAY overrated. I personally didn't like this one as much as the others.
Aladdin: Sorry guys. You keep talking about it and....it led to this. <.>;
Well, maybe you shouldn't form opinions on movies based on how much they are talked about. Make your opinions based on the movie.

)

Sleeping Beauty
Dumbo
Robin Hood
Black Cauldron
Sword in the Stone

Uh...didnt I do this before somewhere
Okay, none the less
Underrated:
The Aristocats
Oliver & Company - (argue all you want THIS was the gateway film to the Disney Renaissance, nothing else!)
The Rescuers Down Under
Pocahontas
James & the Giant Peach
Mulan - (people discredit the music, which I actually liked)
Treasure Planet
Brother Bear - (you need to watch this a couple of times in order to truly appreciate it
Overrated:
Lady and the Tramp
101 Dalmations
The Jungle Book
The Great Mouse Detective - I found this film very dark and dull like most of the Disney films released around that time
The Little Mermaid - same as above but less dull
Dinosaur - the more I see this on TV (like last night), the more I get tired of it
Finding Nemo - I agree with the reviewer this was overrated, in fact it occured to me that all CGI films are the same and are thus losing their originality. Have you noticed that all of the popular CGI films are some sort of buddy comedy in a way (Toy Story, Monster's INC, Ice Age, and the upcoming Shark Tale) The formula is getting real old and I'm looking forward to having The Incredibles break the Pixar formula.
AND ANYTHING INVOLVING WINNIE THE POOH (I hate Winnie the Pooh!)
As for video sequels:
Underrated: Pocahontas II, Aladdin sequels
Overrated: Lion King 2, Lady and the Tramp 2 (ack ack), Peter Pan 2
and of course I still hate Winnie the Pooh!
