Why not? She looks and sounds like a dinosaur to begin with.

If this is the cast then it's a diverse one to say the least but until Pixar confirm that it is I won't read too much into it; I haven't found anything regarding the cast of this film so far so it might well be wrong. Either way, as long as the story and the characters are good enough, I won't worry too much about the cast.

Dafuq? Pixar is now carrying rappers to do the voices?

^why not? they've already had race car drivers, puppeteers, singers, talk show hosts, sportscasters, and their own staff do major voices.

okay, I fudged that a tad, but it's mostly true.

I'm also going to point out that other studios have had the likes of Mr.T and Will.I.Am.

The cast list sounds fake to me.

Yeah, other studios. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Lil Wayne would be very.......

Un-Disney. :ears:

That said, I agree that this sounds fake. I won't fret too much yet.

^I'd already thought of that, but voice cast isnt what makes pixar unique.

It's Mowgli and what-if-Kaa-were-a-dino.

I look forward to seeing this film. The movie We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story is one of my guilty pleasures.

I like the visual sofar, let us hope we'll see more of these warm images. It looks like a lion king sunset with dino's. 😄

I was looking at that artwork and couldn't shake the feeling that I've seen it before, well I think I figured out why it looked so familiar to me. There was a lego set in 2001 or around there that if you arrange the pieces just right you pretty much had that dinosaur's design.

Plot details/spoilers below:
We also have a short, but interesting piece of information on Disney/Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR, from director Bob Peterson (UP). Apparently, the story will revolve around the premise of “What if the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs missed Earth?” The “good” dinosaur in question is named Jacob (pronounced Yacob) and the story follows him and his “pet boy” on an adventure to save their collective worlds. Very interesting concept if you ask me. Feels a bit more like the innovative Pixar of old.

Details on the film's cast and some clips shown at the expo.
A teaser for Pixar’s next feature film was shown the audience, introducing the central “what if?” of the movie. An asteroid flew past the earth, a dinosaur looked at it and simply kept eating. Footage was not very cartoony.
The main character will be Arlo, an apatosaurus! And here’s the cast: Lucas Neff (as our hero, Arlo), John Lithgow (as Poppa), Frances McDormand (as Momma), Bill Hader (Forrest), Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer (Ivy).
